■ CAUTION
• Slide the remote control mode 
selector to [AUDIO].
Examples:
5: [5]
15: [ 10] →
 [1] → [5]
150: [ 10] → [ 10] → [1] → [5] → [0] Press [FAUDIO]. 
• Press [FAUDIO] again to turn off the main 
unit. 
• With the power off, pressing any of the following 
buttons also turns on the main unit. 
-  [DVD/CD 3], [USB 3], [LINE] or [FM/AM] on 
the remote control 
- 3 or 0 on the main unit 
The function assigned to the button starts work-
ing at the same time.

This function allows you to easily understand dia-
log recorded on the disc/file even with the volume 
down low. 
Press [CLEAR VOICE]. 
• Each time you press [CLEAR VOICE], the clear voice function turns on and off. 
NOTE
• This function is effective when receiving the cen-ter channel signal with surround sound, or when 
the surround mode is activated even with stereo 
sound (Refer to page 36).

Press [DIMMER]. 
• Each time you press [DIMMER], the display 
changes in the display window as follows. 
- “DIMMER 1” 
The display window becomes darker than the 
normal display brightness. 
- “DIMMER 2” 
The display window becomes darker than 
“DIMMER 1”. 
- “DIMMER AUTO” 
When a video disc/file is played back, the dis-
play window becomes darker automatically. 
- “DIMMER OFF” 
The normal display brightness is restored.When the time you specify elapses, the main unit 
automatically...

If no sound is produced for 3 minutes, the main 
unit automatically turns off. 
This function is available when a disc/file is 
selected as the source. 
You cannot use this function when a radio broad-
cast, TV sound or a device connected to the [LINE 
IN 1], [LINE IN 2] or [LINE-DIGITAL IN] terminals is 
selected as the source. 
■When a disc/file is selected as the source

Presetting radio stations in the main unit allows 
you to easily tune in to a radio station.
You can store up to 30 FM radio stations and up to 
15 AM radio stations.

the display window while listening to an FM radio 
broadcast. 
■When listening to an FM radio broadcast
Press [DISPLAY MODE] repeatedly. 
PS (Program Service): 
While the main unit is searching for Radio Data 
System information, “WAIT PS” appears and then 
the radio station name is displayed in the display 
window. “NO PS” appears if no signal is received.
PTY (Program Type):

The Enhanced Other Networks function allows the 
main unit to switch temporarily to a broadcast pro-
gram of your choice (TA, News, or Info) from a dif-
ferent radio station when you are listening to a 
Radio Data System radio station. 
• Enhanced Other Networks function is applicable only to the preset radio stations. 
Press [TA/News/Info] repeatedly until 
the indicator of your desired program 
type (TA/News/Info) appears in the dis-
