To avoid risk of electric shock and fire and to protect from damage,
locate the apparatus as follows:
Front: No obstructions open spacing.
Sides: No obstructions in 3 cm from the sides.
Top: No obstructions in 8 cm from the top.
Back: No obstructions in 10 cm from the back.
Bottom: No obstructions, place on the level surface.
In addition, maintain the best possible air circulation as illustrated.

Important cautions
Installation of the system
 Select a place which is level, dry and neither too hot nor too cold; 
between 5°C and 35°C.
 Leave sufficient distance between the system and the TV.
 Do not use the system in a place subject to vibration.
Power cord
 Do not handle the power cord with wet hands!
 A small amount of power (1.0 watt) is always consumed while 
the power cord is connected to the wall outlet (center unit only).

About discs
This system has been designed to play back the following discs:
DVD Video (DVD), Video CD (VCD), Super Video CD (SVCD), 
Audio CD, CD-R and CD-RW.
• This system can also play back  MP3 and JPEG files recorded on 
CD-Rs and CD-RWs. ( Apg. 23)
 This system can also play back finalized DVD-Rs recorded in  DVD VIDEO format. However, so me discs may not be played 
back because of their disc charac teristics or recording conditions.

Before playing a disc, make sure of the following; Check the connection with the TV.
 Turn on your TV and select the correct input mode on the TV to view 
the pictures or on-screen information on the TV screen.
 For DVD playback, you can change the initial setting to your
