2.1. Connecting the Monitor to Your Computer
To  attach  the  LCD  monitor  to  your  computer,  follow  these  in-
structions:
Power off your computer.

Connect the signal cable (see Fig. 2.1):2. 
2a. For a PC or MAC with DVI digital output (A):
Connect the DVI signal cable to the DVI connector on your 
computer.  Connect  the  other  end  of  the  DVI  cable  to  the 
monitor’s DVI input. Tighten all screws.

USB devices can be connected to the USB connectors located on 
the side of the monitor.  Connect the USB terminal on your computer to the USB host

nected to your computer.

2.3. Installing an Alternative Stand 
or Attachment
The base of the LaCie 700 Series Monitor can be disconnected 
to attach a flexible monitor arm or other attachment. Prepare the 
arm and screws required for installation beforehand. 
Step 1—Remove the base
Turn off your monitor and unplug the power cord.1.
