MOUNTING THE CABINET
The central unit (KSU) is a single cabinet to be mounted on thewall. ft should be situated so that it is easily accessible, to
ease installation and maintenance.
At least 12 inches of free space must exist above and below thecabinet. 12 inches are also required on the right side of the
cabinet in 
ord,er to connect the cables.

Check the following items BEFORE turning on the powerswitch:1) Is the voltage range in the correct position?
115V .SAMP, position is for AC voltage input:
105 VAC

INSTALLING THE LOUD BELL
To perform the loud bell function, a loud bell and a DC power
supply which can provide +12 VDC and 1 AMP DC currentminimum are needed to connect to the KSU. To avoid electro-
magnetic interferences, the loud bell should be kept at least 20feet away from the KSU.
The voltage and current rating for the loud bell that can be usedare : 100 VAC, 30 VDC, 2 AMP maximum.

Remote Programming package, which comes on a diskette,and is used with a PC. The other way is programming through
a Display or Executive set. This document explains the second
