Normal/SpeechOpening the menu
Opening the menu
Selection of Normal or Speech is des-
cribed in Section 12.1, Tone Settings.
In this menu, you can temporarily select
Normal or Speech. The selection
remains active until you switch to another
programme position, switch to standby
mode or switch the TV set off completely.
This setting has no effect of the setting
described in Section 12.1, Tone Set-

the various menu items may be displayed in a
different order and numbered differently.

Direct recording of a programmeOpening the menu
If you wish to record the programme you are cur-
rently watching, you can start a direct (one-touch)
recording to make the current programme availa-
ble to a recording device connected to the EURO
sockets.

Opening the menu
Panorama
With the aid of the panorama function, you can
expand programmes broadcast in 4:3
format to fill the screen of a 16:9 TV set.
The picture is expanded uniformly in the
horizontal direction. You can also zoom
the picture. The panorama function can
be activated and deactivated in the menu

EPG (Electronic Program Guide) is an electronic
TV guide covering all major channels. The guide
may be made up of details from NexTView
and/or DVB-SI. 
The NexTView information is broadcast by various
channels and also includes information for other
broadcasting organizations.
