How to restore the factory settings

Maintenance
After every 1,000 hours of operation,
or at least once a year (but never
later than every 18 months),Miele
Customer Service will need to perform
routine maintenance on the
washer-disinfector.
Maintenance covers the following
points:
–electrical integrity,
–door mechanics and seals,
–connectors and fittings in the wash
cabinet,
– water inflow and outflow,
– internal and external dosage
systems,
– spray arms,
– filter combination,
– collector with drain pump and
non-return valve,

Process validation
It is the responsibility of the operator to
routinely check that the required
cleaning and disinfection processes
are being conducted.
In some countries, this is also required
by national legislation, regulations or
recommendations.
Operators are also bound to such
checks under the international standard
EN ISO 15883.
Routine checks
Before each day's use, the operator
must conduct a series of routine
checks. A routine checklist is supplied
with the washer-disinfector.

Cleaning the filters in the wash
cabinet
The filters in the base of the wash
cabinet prevent large particles from
entering the circulation pump.
These filters can become blocked and
need to be inspected on a daily basis
and cleaned as needed.
,The machine must NOT be
operated without the filters in place.

sharp objects such as glass shards,

^Squeeze the two tabs together, then
remove and clean the coarse filter.

Cleaning the flat and micro-fine
filters
^Remove the coarse filter.
^Remove the fine filter (between the
coarse filter and the micro-fine filter).
^Unscrew the micro-fine filter by
grasping the two tabs and turning
two times counter-clockwise.^Remove it together with the flat filter.
^Clean the filters.
^Re-insert the filter combination in
reverse order. The flat filter must lie
flat in the base of the wash cabinet.

Cleaning the spray arms
The spray arm jets can become
blocked.
It is important to inspect them every
day.
^Use a sharp pointed object to push
any particles into the spray arm jets,
then rinse thoroughly under running
water.
To do so, remove the spray arms as
follows:
^Remove the baskets.
Upper basket or mobile unit spray arm
(if applicable):
^Loosen the ring nut on the spray arm
and remove the arm.
Metal nuts are threaded left.

Cleaning the control panel
^The control panel should only be
cleaned with a damp cloth or with a
suitable cleaner for glass or plastic.
To disinfect, use an approved
cleaning agent.

Baskets and inserts
To ensure that the baskets and inserts
are functioning properly, they must be
checked daily. A checklist is supplied
with the washer-disinfector.
Check the following points:
–Are the rollers in proper condition
and are they securely attached to the
basket / insert?

correct height and firmly screwed
on?
