The cleaning result must ensure that
the instruments have been disinfected
correctly, that no residues are left
behind, that subsequent sterilisation
can be carried out and that the
instruments can be used again safely.
Medical products are best reprocessed
using the DESIN vario TD programme.
The use of a suitable carrier (mobile

Disposal of the packing
material
The transport and protective packing
has been selected from materials which
are environmentally friendly for disposal
and can normally be recycled.
Ensure that any plastic wrappings,
bags etc. are disposed of safely and
kept out of the reach of babies and
young children. Danger of suffocation.
Rather than just throwing these
materials away, please ensure that they
are recycled.

Electric door lock
This machine is equipped with an
electric door lock.
The door can only be opened when:
^the electricity supply to the machine
is switched on and
^the On-Off switchI-0is pressed in.

In order to achieve good cleaning
results, the washer-disinfector needs to
operate with soft water. Hard water
results in the build-up of calcium
deposits on instruments etc. and in the
washer-disinfector.
Mains water with a hardness level
higher than 0.7 mmol/l (4° d – German
scale) needs to be softened. This takes
place automatically in the integrated
water softener.

Filling the salt reservoir
Only use special coarse grained
reactivation salt with granules of
approx.1-4mm.Donotuseother
types of salt such as cooking salt,
agricultural grade or gritting salt. These
may contain insoluble additives which
can impair the functioning of the water
softener. If in doubt consult the Miele
Professional Department.
The salt reservoir holds approx. 2.5
kg of salt.
