    How to remove the batteryWhen disposing of the used product, perform [Factory data reset] to completely erase all data.
    ≥Disassemble after the battery runs out.
    ≥ Wearing gloves is recommended during disassembly to prevent inj ury.
    ≥ If it cannot be removed smoothly, contact the dealer or Panason ic.
    ≥ Keep disassembled parts out of reach of children.
    ≥ Regarding the handling of used batteries
    – Insulate the terminals with cellophane tape or similar.
    – Do not disassemble.This figure describes the disposal of this unit, it is not inst
    ruction for repair. If 
    disassembled, repair is not possible.
    1Use a suction cap (commercially 
    available) to lift up the LCD panel, 
    and insert a thin object such as a 
    card between the panel and the unit 
    to remove the LCD panel.
    2Remove all screws (6) in the image 
    below.
    ≥ Use a cross-slot screwdriver 
    (commercially available).
    3Remove the case.
    4Remove the screws (3), cover and 
    flexible board connectors (2), and 
    remove the lens tube module  A.
    5Remove the flexible board connectors 
    (3), and remove the board B.
    6Insert a flathead screwdriver 
    (commercially available) into the 
    slot antenna holder C, lift up the 
    antenna holder  D and remove it, 
    and then remove the battery.

    FCC RF exposure information
    This product meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. 
    This product is a radio transmitter and receiver.
    This product is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emi ssion limits for 
    exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Comm unications 
    Commission of the U.S. Government.
    The guidelines are based on standards that were developed by in dependent 
    scientific organization through periodic and thorough evaluatio n of scientific 
    studies.
    The standards include a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety 
    of all persons, regardless of age and health.
    The exposure standard for wireless handsets employs a unit of m easurement 
    known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR.
    The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/k g.
    The tests are performed in positions and locations (e.g., at th e ear and worn on 
    the body) as required by the FCC for each model.
    The highest SAR value for this product as reported to the FCC w hen tested for 
    use at the ear is 0.468 W/k g, and when worn on the body in a holder or carry case, 
    is 1.511 W/k g.
    For body-worn operation, this product has been tested and meets  FCC RF 
    exposure guidelines when used with a Panasonic accessory design ated for this 
    product and when used with an accessory that contains no metal  and that 
    positions the mobile device a minimum of 1.0 cm (0.033 feet) from  the body.
    Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC RF  exposure 
    guidelines.
    The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this product  with all reported 
    SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF emission  guidelines.

    If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials or 
    workmanship, Panasonic Corporation of North America (referred t o as “the 
    warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated on the  chart below, which 
    starts with the date of original purchase (“warranty period”),  at its option either (a) 
    repair your product with new or refurbished parts, (b) replace  it with a new or a 
    refurbished equivalent value product, or (c) refund your purcha se price. The 
    decision to repair, replace or refund will be made by the warra ntor. 
    During the “Labor” warranty period there will be no charge for  labor. During the
