This key has four active areas that are indicated by arrows.
•Pressing the up and down arrows allows you 
•– to scroll through a list of settings, the Caller List and your
personal directory,

Installation
Installing the Battery
A rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery powers the handset.
Install the battery and charge it for about 15 hours before initial use (p. 8).

ambient temperature.
•Clean the charge contacts of the handset and the charger with a soft, dry
cloth once a month. Clean more often if the unit is subject to grease, dust
or high humidity.Otherwise the battery may not charge properly.
