- 4 - I. INTRODUCTION This tool is a Multi Purpose Cutter. By changing the blade, it can be used to cut wood, metal, and plastic. - 8 - Installing Blade Follow these steps: 1. Remove the battery pack from the tool. 2. Remove any cutting debris from blade area. 3. Use the retracting handle to retract (open) the lower guard. 4. Install the blade as illustrated. (See Fig. 6) Make sure that both the direction arrow on the blade and the direction arrow on the upper blade cover point in the same direction. 5.
