When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always\

including the following:
  1.  Read all instructions.
  2.  Do not touch hot surfaces, especially the steam vent. Use handles or kno\
bs.
  3.  To protect against fi re, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plugs, or 
main unit in water or other liquid.
    Do not splash water or other liquid over them.
