[3D FRAME DELAY]
Adjust the timing of the left-right switch of an image.

The 3D test pattern can be used to check operation and make adjustments \
even without a 3D signal.

On the menu screen, select [DISPLAY OPTION] from the main menu, and select an item from the sub-
menu.
Refer to “Navigating through the menu” (x
  page   81) for the operation of the menu screen.
[COLOR MATCHING]
Correct the color difference between projectors when using multiple projectors simultaneously\
.
Adjusting the color matching as desired
1) Press as to select [COLOR MATCHING].

[OFF] Color matching adjustment is not carried out.
[3COLORS] Adjusts the three colors [RED], [GREEN], or [BLUE].

[MEASURED] Refer to “Adjusting the color matching using a colorimeter” ( x
  page   113) for details about this mode.
3) Select [3COLORS] or [7COLORS], and press the  button.

Note
 f Operation when correcting the adjustment color
When the correction color same as the adjustment color is changed:  The luminance of the adjustment color changes.
When correction color red is changed: Red is added to or subtracted from the adjustment color .
When correction color green is changed: Green is added to or subtracted from the adjustment color .
When correction color blue is changed: Blue is added to or subtracted from the adjustment color .
 fSince advanced skills are necessary for the adjustment, this adjustment \
should be carried out by a person who is familiar with the projector 
or by a service person.
 fPressing the  button on the remote control will restore the factory default settings for all items.
 fWhen [COLOR MA

TCHING] is set to other than [OFF], [COLOR TEMPERATURE] is fixed to [USER1].
 fBy setting [3D COLOR MA

TCHING] (x   page   110), you can set whether to configure separate settings for 2D signal and 3D signal, or to

Adjusting the color matching using a colorimeter
Use a colorimeter that can measure chromaticity coordinates and luminance to change the colors [RED], 
[GREEN], [BLUE], [CYAN], [MAGENTA], [YELLOW], or [WHITE] to desired colors.

[LARGE SCREEN CORRECTION]
Corrects the phenomenon in which colors that appear lighter when viewed \
on a large screen viewed from a close 
distance compared to when viewed on an average screen size so that color\
s appear the same.

 fThe backup function is enabled when [BACKUP  INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF] and same signal is input to the primary 
input and the secondary input.
 f T

o switch to the backup input signal using the backup function, make sure that the following three conditions are satisfied to be ready to use 
the function.
 g Set [BACKUP

 INPUT MODE] to anything other than [OFF].
 gInput the same signal to the primary and secondary inputs. gDisplay the image of the primary input or secondary input. fIf the input is switched to other than the primary or secondary input wh\
ile the backup function is ready for use, the state of readiness to 
use the backup function is canceled. 

To switch to the backup input signal using the backup function again, swi\
tch to the primary input or 
secondary input.
 f When [BACKUP

 INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF], the combination of that input is displayed in [PRIMARY INPUT] and 
[SECONDARY INPUT] of the [BACKUP INPUT SETTING] screen.
 f [BACKUP

 INPUT STATUS] is displayed in the input guide ( x
  page   127) and the [STATUS] screen (x pages 78, 152) when [BACKUP 
INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF].
When the signal can be switched to the backup input signal using the backup function, [ACTIVE] is displayed in [BACKUP  INPUT STATUS]. 
When it is not possible, [INACTIVE] is displayed instead.
The secondary input will be the backup input when [BACKUP INPUT STATUS] is displaying [ACTIVE] while the image from the primary 
input is displayed.
The primary input will be the backup input when [BACKUP INPUT STATUS] is displaying [ACTIVE] while the image from the secondary 
input is displayed.
 f When [BACKUP

 INPUT MODE] is set to anything other than [OFF], the input is switched seamlessly if the input is switched between the 
primary input and the secondary input while it is possible to switch to \
the backup input signal.
 f When [AUT

OMATIC SWITCHING] is set to [ENABLE], and [BACKUP INPUT STATUS] shows [ACTIVE], the signal is switched to the 
backup input if a disruption occurs in the input signal.
 f When [AUT

OMATIC SWITCHING] is set to [ENABLE], the indication in [BACKUP INPUT STATUS] will change to [INACTIVE] if the input 
signal is disrupted and automatically switched to the backup input. In t\
his case, it is not possible to switch to the backup input signal until \
the 
original input signal is restored. If the input has switched to the back\
up input automatically, it is possible to switch to the backup input signal 
when the original signal has restored. In this case, the current input i\
s maintained.
 f [BACKUP

 INPUT SETTING] cannot be set during P IN P. The backup operation is not performed either.
 fWhen the [DISPLA

Y OPTION] menu → [SIMUL INPUT SETTING]  → [HDMI/DVI-D] is set to anything other than [OFF], [BACKUP INPUT 
MODE] which includes the DVI
- D input and HDMI input in the combination of inputs cannot be selected.
 fWhen the [DISPLA

Y OPTION] menu → [SIMUL INPUT SETTING]  → [SDI1/SDI2] is set to anything other than [OFF], [BACKUP INPUT 
MODE] which includes the SDI1 input and SDI2 input in the combination of inputs cannot be selected.

Y OPTION] menu → [SDI IN] → [SDI LINK] is set to [DUAL] or [AUTO], [BACKUP INPUT MODE] which includes the

[16-235] Select this item when the signal output from the HDMI terminal of the external device (such as a Blu-
ray disc player) is input to the  terminal using a conversion cable, etc.

The optimal setting varies depending on the output setting of the connected external device. Refer to the operating instructions of the 
external device regarding the output of the external device.
