Chapter 5 Operation of Function — Web control function ENGLISH - 91 Web control function The wireless module (Model No.: ET-WML100E) of the optional accessories is required if you want to use the network function through the wireless LAN. The projector has a network function, and the following operations are a\ vailable from the computer by using the web control. f Setting and adjustment of the projector f Display of the projector status f Transmission settings of E-mail messages Note f If you use the E-mail function, you need to communicate with the E-mail server. First, please make sure that you can use the E-mail. Computer that can be used In order to use the Web control function, a Web browser is required. Confirm that the Web browser can be used beforehand. OSCompatible web browser Windows Internet Explorer 11.0 Microsoft Edge Mac OSSafari 6.0/7.0/8.0/9.0 Note f Communication with an E-mail server is required to use the E-mail function. Confirm that the E-mail can be used beforehand. Accessing from the web browser 1) Start up the web browser on the computer. 2) Enter the IP address set on the projector into the URL entry field of the web browser. 3) Enter the user name and the password. f The factory default setting of the user name is user1 (user rights)/admin1 (administrator rights) and the password is panasonic (lower case).
