This manual contains important safety and operating instructions 
for Panasonic QE-AL201 Hybrid Charger. 
Before using, please read all of the instructions and warnings on 
(1) this product (2) the other mobile device.
 Warning
Failure to follow the following safety instructions can lead to 
overheating, explosion, fire, personal injury, property damage or 
damage to this product.
1. Do not use the product in humid conditions.
2. Do not use the product if it has a damaged plug.
3. Do not insert a metal object into the terminal.
4.  Do not use the product after it has been dropped or damaged.
5. Do not open / disassemble the charger.
6. Do not charge a device while this product is in contact with your 
b o d y.
7. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or high temperature 
(more than 60°C).
8. Do not put the product in fire or heat.
9.  Unplug the product before maintenance or cleaning.
10.  Do not use the product with a damaged USB cord.
11. For connection to a supply not in the U.S.A, use an attachment plug 
adapter of the proper configuration for the power outlet,  if needed.
12.  This product is intended to be correctly orientated in a vertical or 
floor mount position.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including 
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or 
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given 
super vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a 
person responsible for their safety.

Operating instructions
How to charge the internal battery of Hybrid Charger (Fig.1)
1. Raise the power supply plug at 90° or 180° and plug 
Hybrid Charger into standard 100 –240 V outlet.
2. The Indicator light will come on.
3. After fully charging, the indicator light will go out.
 •After unplugging the Hybrid Charger from an AC outlet, the 
indicator light will remain lit for about ten minutes.
 •The indicator light can be turned off by pushing the DC 
output button.

How to supply power to a device

1. Connect the included USB cord to the Hybrid Charger.
2. Connect the other end of the cord into the device to be 
charged.
 •If the device does not support a USB micro-B type terminal, 
use a suitable cord for the device.
3. Press the DC output button.
 •Charging output is normal when the indicator light is blinking.
 •Press the DC output button to turn the power supply off.
 •If two devices are being charged at the same time and the 
current exceeds 1.8 amps, the charger may turn off.
4. After charging is complete, the indicator light will turn 
off.

 Connect the included USB cord to the Hybrid Charger.
2. Plug the Hybrid Charger into a standard 100 –240 V 
outlet.
3. Connect the other end of the cord into the device to be 
used.
 •Power will be supplied to the device without pushing the DC 
output button.
 •If two devices are being charged at the same time and the 
current exceeds 1.8 amps, the charger may turn off.
4. When the device connected to the AC adapter 
is disconnected, the internal battery is charged 
automatically.
5. After full charge of the internal battery of Hybrid Charger, 
indicator light will be turned off.

How to confirm the remain capacity of Hybrid Charger (Fig.4)
If the DC output button is pressed, the indicator light 
will remain on for about ten minutes when no device is 
connected.
 •If the DC output button is pressed again, light will go out.

About overheat protection function
The included USB cord has a built in temperature sensor. If an abnormal temperature is detected the indicator light will blink orange and power to the device will be stopped.  When this function is activated, pull the USB cord out of Hybrid Charger and clean the terminal of any dust or other debris.  When using other USB cords this function does not work.

Este manual contiene instrucciones importantes de seguridad y 
operación para el cargador híbrido Panasonic QE-AL201.

Instrucciones de operación
Cómo cambiar la batería interna del cargador híbrido (figura 1)
1. Eleve el enchufe de la fuente de alimentación a 90º o 180º 
y conecte el cargador híbrido a una toma estándar de 
100–240 V.
2. La luz indicadora se encenderá.
3. Después de completar la carga, la luz indicadora se apagará.
 •Tras desconectar el cargador híbrido de una toma de CA, 
la luz indicadora seguirá encendida durante diez minutos 
aproximadamente.
 •La luz indicadora puede apagarse si se presiona el botón de 
salida de CD.

Cómo suministrar energía a un dispositivo

1. Conecte el cable USB incluido al cargador híbrido.
2. Conecte el otro extremo del cable al dispositivo que se 
va a cargar.
 •Si el dispositivo no soporta una terminal tipo USB micro-B, 
use un cable adecuado para éste.
3. Presione el botón de salida de CD.
 •La salida de carga es normal cuando la luz indicadora está 
parpadeando.
 •Presione el botón de salida de CD para apagar la fuente de 
alimentación.
 •Si se están cargando dos dispositivos al mismo tiempo y la 
corriente excede los 1,8 amperes, el cargador puede apagarse.
4. Una vez compleda la carga, la luz indicadora se apagará.

 Conecte el cable USB incluido al cargador híbrido.

3. Conecte el otro extremo del cable al dispositivo que va a usarse.
 •Se suministrará energía al dispositivo sin presionar el botón 
de salida de CD.
 •Si se están cargando dos dispositivos al mismo tiempo y la 
corriente excede los 1,8 amperes, el cargador puede apagarse.
4. Cuando el dispositivo conectado al adaptador de CA está 
desconectado, la batería se carga automáticamente.
5. Después de cargar por completo la batería interna del 
cargador híbrido, la luz indicadora se apagará.

Cómo confirmar la capacidad restante del cargador híbrido (figura 4)
Si presiona el botón de salida de CD, la luz indicadora 
permanecerá encendida durante cerca de diez minutos, si 
no hay ningún dispositivo conectado.
 •Si presiona de nuevo el botón de salida de CD, la luz se 
apagará.

Acerca de la función de protección contra 
sobrecalentamiento
El cable USB incluido tiene un sensor de temperatura integrado Si se detecta una temperatura anormal, la luz indicadora parpadeará en color anaranjado y se cor tará la energía que alimenta al dispositivo. Cuando se active esta función, desconecte el cable USB del cargador híbrido y limpie el polvo u otros residuos de la terminal. Si utiliza otros cables USB, está función no se activará.
