    INSTALLING THE WALL MOUNT
    1. Disconnect the cradle stand from the unit.
    2. Peel off the fi lm from the double-sided adhesive sheet
for the wall mount and attach it on a clean wall.
    3.
Secure the wall mount bracket using 6 screws (not
supplied) while aligning holes marked on the sheet.
    4. Attach the back unit bracket(bracket set mount) with
the Home Theater unit by fastening provided 4 screws.
    5.
Fully insert the back bracket’s clasp into
the wall mount bracket’s receptacle and
fi x it by fully sliding to the right. Installation completed.
Do not hang onto the installed unit and avoid any impact to the unit.
Secure the unit fi rmly to the wall so that it does not fall off. If the unit falls off, it\
     may result in an
injury or damage to the product.
When the unit is installed on a wall, please make sure that a child does\
     not pull any of
connecting cables, as it may cause it to fall.

Do not install on a place other than a vertical wall.
When installating, avoid locations with high temperature or humidity, or\
     a wall that cannot
sustain the weight of the set.
Check the strength of the wall. If the strength of the wall is insuffi\
     cient for the product
installation, make sure to reinforce the wall before the installation.
Check the material of the wall. If the wall is made of plaster board, ma\
    rble, or iron board,
purchase and use the appropriate fi xing screws.
Cables connecting to external devices are to be connected to the unit be\
    fore installing.
Be sure to turn off the unit before installation. Otherwise, it may caus\
    e electric shock.
Do not turn the assembled cradle stand and main unit upside down, as the\
     main unit may fall
from the stand and cause product damage or personal injury.

CONNECTING THE VIDEO OUT TO YOUR TV
Choose one of the two methods for connecting to a TV.
      METHOD 1 : HDMI (BEST)
Connect the HDMI cable (not supplied) from the HDMI OUT jack on the ba\
ck of the Blu-ray Home Theater
to the HDMI IN jack on your TV.
Depending on your TV, certain HDMI output resolutions may not work.
If an HDMI cable is connected from the player to a TV, the Blu-ray Home \
    Theater’s output is set to
    HDMI automatically within 10 seconds.
When you connect the player to the TV using the HDMI cable for the fi rst time or to a new TV, the
HDMI output resolution will automatically be set to the highest provided\
     by the TV.
If you connect a Samsung TV to the Blu-ray Home Theater using an HDMI ca\
    ble, the player can
be easily operated using the TV remote control. (This is only available\
     with Samsung TVs that
support the Anynet+ feature.) (See page 44)
After making the video connection, set the Video input source on your TV\
     to match the
corresponding Video output (HDMI) on your Blu-ray Home Theater.
See your TV owners manual for more information on how to select the TV\

    HDMI Auto Detection Function
The players video output will automatically change to HDMI mode when co\
    nnecting an HDMI cable
while power is on. For possible HDMI resolutions, see page 41.
HDMI (High Defi nition Multimedia Interface)
HDMI is an interface that enables the digital transmission of video and \
audio data with just a single connector.Using HDMI, the Blu-ray Home Theater transmits a digital video and audio\
signal and displays a vivid picture on a
TV having an HDMI input jack.
    HDMI connection description
HDMI connector - Supports video and digital audio data.
    - HDMI outputs only a pure digital signal to the TV.
    -
If your TV does not support HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protec\
tion), random noise appears on the screen.
    Why does Samsung use HDMI?
Analog TVs require an analog video/audio signal. However, when playing a\
     BD/DVD, the data
transmitted to a TV is digital. Therefore either a digital-to-analog con\
verter (in the Blu-ray Home Theater) or an
analog-to-digital converter (in the TV) is required. During this conve\
rsion, the picture quality is degraded due to
noise and signal loss. HDMI technology is superior because it requires n\
o D/A conversion and is a pure digital
signal from the player to your TV.
    What is the HDCP?
HDCP (High-band width Digital Content Protection) is a system for prot\
ecting BD/DVD content outputted via HDMI
from being copied. It provides a secure digital link between a video sou\
rce (PC, DVD. etc) and a display device (TV,
projector. etc). Content is encrypted at the source device to prevent u\
    nauthorized copies from being made.
    What is Anynet+?
Anynet+ is a convenient function that offers linked operation of this un\
it through Samsung TVs with the Anynet+ feature.
    - If your Samsung TV has an logo, then it supports the Anynet+ function.
    - If you turn on the player and insert a disc, the player will start playi\
ng the disc, and the TV will turn on
automatically and switch to HDMI mode.
    - If you turn on the player and press the PLAY button with a disc already inserted, the TV will immediately turn on
    and switch to HDMI mode.
    What is BD Wise?
BD Wise is Samsung's latest inter-connectivity feature.
    - When you connect Samsung products with BD-Wise to each other via HDMI, t\
he optimum resolution will be set
    automatically.
METHOD 2 : Composite Video (GOOD)
Connect the supplied Video cable from the VIDEO OUT jack on the back of \
    the Blu-ray Home Theater
to the VIDEO IN jack on your TV.
The VIDEO source is always output in 480i resolution regardless of the r\
    esolution set in the SETUP
    menu. (See page 42)
After making the video connection, set the Video input source on your TV\
     to match the
corresponding Video output (Composite) on your Blu-ray Home Theater.
See your TV owners manual for more information on how to select the TV\
    s Video Input source.
Do not connect the unit through a VCR. Video signals fed through VCRs ma\
    y be affected by
copyright protection systems and the picture will be distorted on the te\
    levision.
