    Whenyouperformadouble-clickwiththeinteractivepen,ensurethatthepenisperpendiculartothe
    surfaceandthatthesecondtouchisinthesameplaceasthefirstclick.Ifyoursecondclickisn’tin
    thesameplaceasthefirst,thepointerwillmoveandregisteranewfirst-click.
    Resolvingimageissues
    Toresolvecommonimageissues,completethefollowingtasks:
    lEnsurethecomputerorothervideosourceisonandsettodisplayaresolutionandrefreshrate
    supportedbytheprojector(seeVideoformatcompatibilityonpage27yf.Usetheprojector’s
    nativeresolution(1280×800in16:10mode,or1280×720in16:9modeyfforthebestresults.
    lEnsurethevideosourceisproperlyconnectedtotheprojector.
    lPresstheInputbuttonontheremotecontroltoswitchtothecorrectvideosource.
    Ifthesetasksdon’tresolvetheissue,refertothefollowingsectionsforadditionaltroubleshooting
    information.
    Lossofsignal
    Ifavideosourcesignalisnotdetected,outof
    rangeoftheprojector’ssupportvideomodesor
    thesignalisbeingswitchedtoadifferentdevice
    orinput,theprojectordoesn’tshowasource

    1.Checkthedisplaymodeofyourcomputer’sgraphicscard.Makesureitmatchesoneofthe
    projector’scompatiblesignalformats(seeVideoformatcompatibilityonpage27yf.Referto
    yourcomputer’smanualformoreinformation.
    2.Configurethedisplaymodeofyourcomputer’sgraphicscardtomakeitcompatiblewiththe
    projector.Refertoyourcomputer’smanualformoreinformation.
    3.Optionally,resettheprojectorasdescribedinResettingtheprojectoronnextpagetoadjust
    thefrequencyandtrackingtotheiroriginalvalues.

    4.Ifthepreviousstepsdon’tresolvetheflickeringimage,replacetheprojectorlamp(see

    Unalignedprojectedimage
    Alignmenterrorsoccurwhentheprojectedimageisn’tperpendiculartothescreen.Alignmenterrors
    canoccurwhenyoumountyourinteractivewhiteboardsystemonanunevensurfaceorawallthat
    hasobstructions,orifyouswiveltheprojectortoofarfromtheverticalcenterofyourinteractive
    whiteboard.
    Theprojectorimagecanslipiftheprojectorismovedoftenorinstalledinalocationpronetovibration,
    suchasnexttoaheavydoor.Followtheseprecautionstohelppreventtheimagefrombecoming
    unaligned:
    lMakesurethattheinstallationwallisplumbandsquareanddoesn’tmoveorvibrate
    excessively.
    lMakesurethattherearenoobstructionsbehindtheprojector’swall-mountingbracketandthat
    thebracketisfirmlysecuredtothewallaccordingtotheinstallationinstructions.
    lMakesurethattheprojectionsurfaceisflatandsmooth.

    SMART Support.Performinginitialtroubleshootingonyourprojectorwillreducethetimeofasupport
    call.
    Yourprojectorstopsresponding
    Ifyourprojectorstopsresponding,performthefollowingprocedure.
    gTorestartanunresponsiveprojector
    1.PuttheprojectorintoStandbymode,andthenwait30minutesforittocooldown.
    2.Disconnectthepowercablefromthepoweroutlet,andthenwaitatleast60seconds.
    3.Connectthepowercable,andthenturnontheprojector.
    The“ProjectorOverheated,”“FanFailure”or“ColorWheelFailure”
    messageappears
    Ifthe“ProjectorOverheated,”“FanFailure”or“ColorWheelFailure”messageappearsandthe
