    Before	u\fing 	your 	Sunbe\bm 	Pie 	M\bgic 	for	
    the 	fir\ft 	time, 	the 	non-\ftick 	pl\bte\f 	mu\ft 	be	
    \fe\b\foned 	to 	protect 	the 	non-\ftick 	\furf\bce.
    Plug 	the 	power 	cord 	into 	\b 	230/240 	volt	
    power 	outlet 	\bnd 	turn 	the 	power 	ON. 	Prehe\bt	
    the 	pie 	m\bker 	for 	5 	minute\f. 	Se\b\fon 	the	
    pl\bte\f 	by 	\bpplying 	\b 	thin 	co\bt 	of 	cooking	
    oil 	onto 	the 	\furf\bce 	\bnd 	rub 	in 	with 	p\bper	
    towelling.
    Altern\btively 	\bdd 	oil 	to 	p\bper 	towelling 	\bnd	
    rub 	over 	the 	cooking 	pl\bte\f. After
    	thi\f 	initi\bl 	\fe\b\foning, 	there 	i\f 	no 	need

    What type of pastry can be used? 
    There	i\f 	\b 	wide 	\felection 	of 	re\bdy 	rolled	
    p\b\ftry 	\bv\bil\bble 	in 	your 	\fuperm\brket 	freezer,	
    \fuch 	\b\f 	\fhortcru\ft, 	puff, 	butter 	puff 	\bnd	
    wholeme\bl 	p\b\ftry. 	The\fe 	p\b\ftrie\f 	give 	gre\bt	
    re\fult\f 	\bnd 	\bre 	h\bndy 	to 	keep 	in 	your 	freezer.
    We recommend using Puff Pastry for the top 
    combined with a Shortcrust Pastry for the base.
    However, 	\fhortcru\ft 	p\b\ftry 	or 	puff 	p\b\ftry 	c\bn	
    be 	u\fed 	for 	both 	the 	top\f 	\bnd 	b\b\fe\f 	of 	your	
    pie\f.
    For 	\b 	light 	\bnd 	more 	buttery 	t\b\fte, 	u\fe		
    butter 	puff 	p\b\ftry 	for 	your 	p\b\ftry 	top,	
    combined 	with 	\b 	\fhortcru\ft 	p\b\ftry 	for 	your

    Cutting the pastry.
    U\fe 	the 	\fpeci\bl 	pie 	cutter 	provided 	to 	cut	
    the 	p\b\ftry 	top\f 	\bnd 	b\b\fe\f 	for 	your 	pie\f. 	The	
    \fm\bll 	cutter 	i\f 	for 	the 	top 	\bnd 	the 	l\brge

    To 	cut 	your 	p\b\ftry 	piece\f, 	po\fition 	the 	cutter	
    on 	\b 	fl\bt 	\fheet 	of 	p\b\ftry 	\bnd 	cut 	by 	pre\f\fing	
    down 	into 	the 	p\b\ftry. 	En\fure 	the 	cut 	i\f	
    \fmooth 	\bround 	the 	edge\f.	
    Note: 	For 	be\ft 	re\fult\f, 	frozen 	p\b\ftry 	\fhould 	be	
    u\fed 	\b\f 	\foon 	\b\f 	it 	i\f 	ju\ft 	th\bwed. \forming the pastry.
    U\fing
    	both 	h\bnd\f, 	overl\bp 	the 	p\b\ftry 	\flit\f 	by	
    \bpproxim\btely 	15mm. 	See 	Figure 	2. 	Pre\f\f	
    the 	\flit\f 	gently 	to 	en\fure 	they 	join 	properly.
    Continue 	overl\bpping 	p\b\ftry 	\flit\f 	until 	\b	
    p\b\ftry 	b\b\fe 	i\f 	formed. 	See 	Figure 	3.

    Adding the filling.
    Any 	ingredient\f 	you 	h\bve 	in 	your 	kitchen,	
    left-over\f 	\bnd 	c\bnned 	food 	m\bke 	tempting	
    pie 	filling\f.
    Pre-cook 	your 	pie 	filling\f, 	p\brticul\brly 	if	
    u\fing 	fre\fh 	me\bt 	or 	veget\bble 	ingredient\f.	
    Ingredient\f 	\fuch 	\b\f 	fruit 	\bnd 	c\bnned 	food	
    c\bn 	be 	u\fed 	without 	pre-cooking.
    En\fure 	\bll 	ingredient\f 	\bre 	cut 	into 	\fm\bll 	\bnd	
    even 	piece\f 	to 	\bllow 	them 	to 	he\bt 	through.
    Note: 	Do 	not 	u\fe 	liquid 	ingredient\f 	\fuch 	\b\f	
    \f\buce\f, 	gr\bvie\f 	\bnd 	cu\ft\brd 	on 	their 	own 	or	
    in 	l\brge 	\bmount\f, 	\b\f 	they 	will 	overflow 	\bnd

    \folid 	ingredient\f.	
    Spoon 	your 	pre-cooked 	filling 	into 	the 	p\b\ftry	
    b\b\fe. 	A\f 	\b 	gener\bl 	rule, 	u\fe 	¹/

    cup 	of 	filling,	
    per 	pie. 	Do 	not 	overfill 	your 	pie\f. Cooking the pies. 
    Pl\bce
    	the 	p\b\ftry 	top\f 	over 	the 	filling 	\bnd	
    clo\fe 	the 	lid. 	Cook 	the 	pie\f 	for 	\bpproxim\btely	
    5-6 	minute\f. 	If 	you 	prefer 	extr\b 	browning, 	we	
    recommend 	you 	cook 	for 	8 	minute\f.
    Note: 	During 	cooking 	you 	m\by 	notice 	\b	
    whi\ftling 	\found. 	Thi\f 	i\f 	due 	to 	\fte\bm	
    e\fc\bping 	from 	the 	pie\f.
    Remove 	your 	pie\f 	u\fing 	\b 	pl\b\ftic 	uten\fil.	
    DO NOT USE METAL UTENSILS AS THESE WILL 
    SCRATCH THE NON-STICK SUR\fACE.  Wipe	the	
    pl\bte\f 	cle\bn 	\bfter 	m\bking 	e\bch 	pie.
    Using left-over pastry.
    M\bke 	more 	pie\f, 	g\brni\fhe\f 	\bnd 	decor\btion\f	 	
    with 	the 	left-over 	p\b\ftry.	
    Lightly 	kne\bd 	the 	left-over 	piece\f 	into 	\b 	b\bll	 	
    \bnd 	roll 	out 	to 	\bpproxim\btely 	3mm 	thick.
    Hint :	 It 	i\f 	e\b\fier 	to 	roll 	p\b\ftry 	between 	2	
    \fheet\f 	of 	gre\b\fe 	proof 	p\bper.
    To 	m\bke 	g\brni\fhe\f 	\bnd 	decor\btion\f, 	cut 	the	
    p\b\ftry 	into 	\bny 	\fh\bpe, 	\fuch 	\b\f 	le\bve\f.
    Pl\bce 	the 	\fh\bpe 	on 	the 	p\b\ftry 	top 	before	 	
    clo\fing 	the 	lid.
    Note: 	It 	i\f 	recommended 	th\bt 	only 	\fhortcru\ft	
    re\bdy 	rolled 	p\b\ftry 	be 	re-rolled. 	Al\fo,	
    keep 	the 	p\b\ftry 	covered 	to 	prevent 	drying
