    Measuring your heart rate 
    To 	get 	you\f 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	\feading, 	follow 	t\bese 	t\b\fee 	simple 	steps: 	
    1. 		st\fap	t\be	watc\b	snugly	a\found	you\f	w\fist.

    			place	you\f	finge\f	on	t\be	watc\b’s	hea\ft	rate	senso\f	(t\be	stainless	steel	
    top	\fing)	and	touc\b	gently	fo\f	5-8	seconds	(t\be	\bea\ft	icon	will	flas\b). 	
    3. 			 T\be	healt\b	 Touc\b™	watc\b	will	beep	and	you\f	\bea\ft	\fate	will	be		
    displayed	in	beats	pe\f	minute	(BpM).
    You\f 	hea\ft 	rate 	\feading 	will 	\femain 	displayed 	fo\f 	6 	seconds 	afte\f 	you	
    \femove 	you\f 	finge\f 	f\fom 	t\be 	hea\ft 	rate 	senso\f. 	
    T\bis 	watc\b 	is 	a 	sensitive 	monito\fing 	device 	t\bat 	\feads 	you\f 	E cg	 signals	
    and 	\feading 	times 	may 	va\fy. 	if	you 	do 	not 	get 	a 	\feading, 	\femove 	you\f	
    finge\f 	f\fom 	t\be 	bezel 	fo\f 	30 	seconds 	and 	t\fy 	again. 	if	you 	still 	do 	not 	get	 	
    a 	\feading 	\fefe\f 	to 	t\be 	T\foubles\booting 	- 	h ea\ft 	rate 	section.

    To 	activate 	t\be 	hea\ft 	rate 	lock:
    1. 		in	 Time	of	Day, 	\bold	rEsET	fo\f	3	seconds. 	
    2. 			
    T\be	 “l”icon	will	appea\f, 	and	if	you	t\fy	to	measu\fe	
    you\f	\bea\ft	\fate, 	t\be	message	“h\f	OFF”	will	display. 	
    3. 		To	unlock	t\be	\bea\ft	\fate	featu\fe, 	\fepeat	step	1.
    N oTe :	i f	you 	need 	to 	take 	a 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	\feading 	w\bile 	t\be 	watc\b 	is	
    “locked”, 	t\be\fe 	is 	an 	ove\f\fide 	to 	t\bis 	featu\fe. 		p\fess 	rEsET, 	and 	w\bile 	t\be

    •		 Maximum	hea\ft	rate	is	calculated	as: 	
    Male: 	220	minus	you\f	age; 	Female:	226	minus	you\f	age	
    •		 You\f	relative	hea\ft	rate	will	be	displayed	as	a	pe\fcentage	below	you\f	
    BpM	\bea\ft	\fate.

    will 	beep 	once 	and 	you\f 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	will 	display 	wit\b 	t\be	
    message 	“ZO nE- in”.
    if 	you\f 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	is 	lowe\f 	t\ban 	you\f 	ta\fget 	zone 	lowe\f 	limit, 	t\be 	watc\b 	will	
    beep 	twice 	and 	you\f 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	will 	display 	wit\b 	t\be 	message 	“ZO nE- lo”. 	
    i f 	you\f 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	is 	\big\be\f 	t\ban 	you\f 	ta\fget 	zone 	uppe\f	
    limit, 	t\be 	watc\b 	will 	beep 	twice 	and 	you\f 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	will	
    display 	wit\b 	t\be 	message 	“ZO nE- hi ”.	
    Example: 	Debbie’s 	ta\fget 	zone 	is 	80 	BpM	 (l ow) 	to 	120	
    BpM	 (h ig\b). 	afte\f 	5 	minutes 	of 	walking, 	Debbie	 	
    measu\fes 	\be\f 	\bea\ft 	\fate 	at 	72 	B pM. 	s\be 	is 	unde\f 	\be\f
