Connections to the Vision 
90t/100t
Proceed as follows to connect the Vision 90t/100t to your video sources, external 
controller(s) – if present – and AC power. 
When connecting your equipment:
 Turn off all equipment before making any connections.
 Use the correct signal cables for each source.
 Ensure the cables are firmly connected. Tighten the thumbscrews on connectors that 
have them.

Use a standard, 9-pin RS-232 cable to connect a PC or home theater control/automation 
system (if present) to the RS-232 CONTROL port on the Vision 90t/100t; see 
Figure 3-10.

If your home theater contains a retractable screen, screen mask or other 12-Volt 
trigger-activated equipment, connect it to a 12-Volt trigger output as shown in 
Figure 3-12.

Turning on the Power
1. Turn on your source components. 
2. Turn on the main power switch on the projector.
3. If this is an AutoScope-equipped projector, turn on the main power switch at the rear of 
the AutoScope lens motor. The lens motor power switch is located next to the AC input. 
4. Press the ON button on the remote control – or the POWER button on the Vision

Lens Adjustments
To access the motorized lens controls, select Display Device from the Service Menu, then 
select Lens from the Display Device menu. The Lens menu gives you a great deal of control 
over the picture size, position and focus:
