    Troubleshooting Guide
If you operate the camera’s dials or lens during movie shooting, the
operation noise will also be recorded. Using an external microphone
    (commercially available) is recommended (p.197).
During autoexposure movie shooting, if there is a drastic change in the
exposure level, the recording will stop momentarily until the brightness
stabilizes. If this happens, shoot in the < M> (manual exposure)
    mode (p.180).
Use a stereo AV cable or HDMI cable (sold separately, p.247, 251).
Make sure the stereo AV cable or HDMI cable’s plug is inserted all the
    way in (p.247, 251).
Set the video OUT system (NTSC/PAL) to the same video system as
    the TV set (p.251).
If the movie file size reaches 4 GB, another movie file will be created
    automatically (p.188).
Depending on the card reader and computer OS used, SDXC cards
might not be correctly recognized. If this occurs, connect your camera
to the computer with the provided interface cable, then transfer the
images to your computer using EOS Utility (provided software, p.340).
JPEG c and RAW images cannot be resized (p.262).
When the movie is played back, camera operation noise can be heard.
    The movie has still moments.
No image appears on the TV screen.
There are multiple movie files for a single movie shoot.
My card reader does not recognize the card.
    I cannot resize the image.

If you selected [Clean now f], the shutter will make a noise, but no
    picture is taken (p.225).
If you repeatedly switch the power to < 1>/ at a short
interval, the < f> icon may not appear (p.37).
What is displayed on the screen differs depending on the printer. This
instruction manual lists all the printing effects available (p.270).
    Sensor Cleaning Problems
The shutter makes a noise during sensor cleaning.
Automatic sensor cleaning does not work.
    Printing-Related Problems
There are fewer printing effects than listed in
    the instruction manual.
