computersothatitcancommunicatewiththeprinter.
Theprinterdriverconvertstheprintdatacreatedbyyourapplicationsoftwareintodatathatyourprintercan
understand,andsendstheconverteddatatotheprinter.
Becausedifferentprinterssupportdifferentdataformats,youneedaprinterdriverthatsupportsyourprinter.
PrinterDriverTypes
IfyourcomputerisrunningWindowsVistaSP1oralaterversion,youcaninstalltheXPSprinterdriverin
additiontothenormalprinterdriver.
TheXPSprinterdriverissuitedtoprintingfromapplicationsoftwarethatsupportsXPSprinting.

Color/IntensityManualAdjustment Selectwhenyousetthe ColorCorrectionmethodandindividualsettingssuchas Cyan,Magenta ,
Yellow ,Brightness ,Intensity ,andContrast ,etc.
MediaType Selectsatypeofprintingpaper.
Selectamediatypethatmatchesthepaperthatisloadedintheprinter.Thisensuresthatprintingis
carriedoutproperlyforthespecifiedpaper.
PrinterPaperSize Selectsthesizeofpaperactuallyloadedintotheprinter.
Normally,thepapersizeissetautomaticallyaccordingtotheoutputpapersizesetting,andthe
documentisprintedwithnoscaling.
Whenyouset 2-on-1Printing or4-on-1Printing inAdditionalFeatures ,youcanmanuallysetthe
papersizewith PageSizeonthePageSetup tab.
Ifyouselectapapersizethatissmallerthanthe PageSize,thedocumentsizewillbereduced.Ifyou
selectapapersizethatislarger,thedocumentsizewillbeenlarged.
Alsoifyouselect Custom...,the
CustomPaperSizedialogbox opensandallowsyoutospecifyany
