31 Rehingeing the door The side at which the door opens can be changed from the right side (fac- tory adjustment) to the left side, if the installation site requires. 39 FROSTMATIC The FROSTMATIC function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and, at the same time, protects foodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming. 1. The FROSTMATIC function is switched on by pressing the FROSTMATIC but- ton. The yellow light illuminates. 40 Freezing and storing frozen food You can use your freezer for freezing fresh food yourself. Important! The temperature in the freezer compartment must be –18 °C or colder before freezing food. Please observe the freezing capacity given on the rating plate. The free- zing capacity is the maximum quantity of fresh food that can be frozen within a period of 24 hours.
