    Expo Metering (Exposure Metering) 
    Use ths settng to select the "target" sze of the camera's 
    field of vew to be metered.
    Three meterng "target" szes are avalable to choose from:
    • Spot meter
     ng targets a small area n the center of 
    the camera's field of vew. 
    •  Center meter
     ng targets a slghtly larger area n the 
    center of the cameras field of vew.
    •  AiAE (Art
     fical Intellgence AE) targets the camera's 
    entre field of vew.
    Continuous AF
    Wth Contnuous AF s turned on, the camera wll contnu-
    ally adjust focus automat
    cally n response to any camera 
    or subject movement.

    Continuous ShotUse ths settng to perform contnuous shootng. After 
    enterng ths mode, you can shoot multple mages by 
    contnuously holdng the shutter button down.
    There are five avalable optons:
    • Off: Turns off the Cont
     nuous Shot functon.
    •  Unlimited: Press and hold down the shutter button to 
    shoot cont
     nuously untl you release the shutter but-
    ton or when the memory card has run out of space.
    •
    
      3 Shots: Capture up to 3 consecut
     ve pctures.
    •  3 Shots (Last): Capture p
     ctures contnuously untl the 
    Shutter button s released but only the last 3 shots 
    are recorded. 
    •
    
      Time Lapse:
     Automat
     cally capture pctures at 
    predefined ntervals. The flash s desgned not to work n ths mode n 
    order to enable quck successon of shots.

    Quick Review
    Ths settng refers to the bref photo revew mmedately 
    after takng a pcture. The pcture stays on the LCD screen 
    for an adjustable perod of tme.
    Four optons are avalable:

    Date Imprint
    Include a Date/Tme stamp n the photo mage.

    Digital Zoom
    Use ths settng to enable or dsable the dgtal zoom 
    functon. When Dgtal Zoom s turned off, only the optcal 
    zoom s functonal.

    Move Menu
    Mode:  
    In the Move Mode, press the  button to go to the cor-
    respond
    ng Move menu.
    To configure each settng:
    1.  In the Move menu, swtch between the Move Setup 
    or dfferent Camera Setup pages usng the Left/Rght 
    button, select the tab wth the functon you want to 
    adjust and press the Down button.
    2.  Press the Up/Down button to select the functon and 
    press the Rght button to go to the sub-menu.
    3. Press the Up/Down button to select an opton or the 
    Left or  button to return to the menu.
    4.  Press the 
     button to confirm the settng and return 
    to the prevous menu.

    Playback Menu
    Mode :  
    In Playback mode, press the  button to enter the Play-
    back menu.
    The followng secton provdes detaled nstructons on the 
    varous menu optons.
    Protect
    To prevent any pctures or vdeos from beng accdentally 
    erased, use ths settng to lock one or all of the files.
    To protect/unprotect a pcture or vdeo:
    1.  Use Up/Down arrow button to select Protecton, press 
     or Rght button to enter the submenu.
    2.
      Use Up/Down button to select a sngle pcture to lock 
    the selected photo or move; or select all to protect 
    all photos and moves stored n n-bult memory card. 
    Press  
     button to confirm and enter photo/move 
    protecton nterface.

    3. Press the  button to select Yes to lock dsplayed 
    photos or vdeos, or select De-protecton to unlock, 
    then press Up/Down button to select Back to return to 
    the playback menu. 
    After select
    
    ng Reset, all prevous protecton settngs 
    wll be cancelled.
    Delete
    There are three ways to delete files.
    • Delete One:
    1.
      In the Delete Opton, select One and then press the 
     
    button.
    2.
      Press the Left/Rght button to locate the photo or 
    vdeo to be deleted. Press the Up/Down button and 
    select yes and press the 
     to delete the tem or select 
    "back" to return to the prevous menu.

    • Delete All:
    1.
      In the Delete opton, select All and then press the 
     
    button.
    2.
      Use Up/Down button and select Yes to delete all files, 
    or select Back to return to the menu.
    • Delete Date Folder:
    1.
    
      In the Delete opton, press 
     button after selectng 
    Date Folder. 
    2. 
      Use the Up/Down button to select Date Folder to 
    be deleted, press 
     to confirm, press the Up/Down 
    button to select tem (Yes: to delete the file, Back: to 
    return to the menu) and then press 
     to confirm.
    The “
    ” ndcator means a file s protected. Fle 
    protecton must be removed first before a file can be 
    deleted.
    Delet
    
    ng files wll cause DPOF settngs to be reset.
    DPOF (Digital Print Order Format)
    DPOF feature allows you to comple a selecton of pctures 
    that you would lke to have prnted, and wll save your 
    selecton n the memory card so that you can smply hand 
    your memory card to a photo prntng servce wthout 
    havng to tell them whch photos you would lke to prnt.

    TrimThe Trm settng allows you crop photos an save them as 
    new pctures.
    To trm a pcture:
    1. Wth the camera n Playback mode press the menu 
    button to access the Photo Menu. Then use the Left/
    R
     ght button and select the "playback setup 2" tab. Use 
    the Down button to select Trm and press the functon 
    button to enter the Trm sub-menu.
    2.  Usng the Left/Right buttons, locate the photo that you 
    want to crop. After the photo 
     s dsplayed on the LCD 
    screen press the Down button, select Yes and press 
    the funct
     on  button.
    3.  Use the zoom buttons and navgaton buttons to crop 
    the pcture.
    4. Press  button and a ‘Save Changes?’ prompt wll 
    dsplay. Select “O” to confirm changes and save t as a 
    new mage, or select “X” to cancel changes and return 
    to the prevous menu. 
    The mage can not be clpped agan once t has been 
    cl
    pped to 640X480.
    HDR-High Dynamic Range
    Wth the HDR functon, pctures that are overexposed 
    may be corrected to optmze the hghlghts and lowlghts 
    captured to more accurately represent the real scene.
    1.
    
      Select HDR settng n  Playback
     menu as descr
     bed 
    prevously.
    2.  Press Left and Rght button to find pcture you want 
    to optmze and then select Confirm to perform HDR 
    optmzaton or select Return to go back to Playback 
    menu.
    3.  After usng the HDR functon, the mage wll be saved 
    as a new file, and the orgnal file s stll stored n the 
    memory.
