    Technical Tips
Before starting any procedure, inspect the disc to be repaired to determ\
    ine
the type of procedure needed. It is generally recommended to begin with \
    the
Disc	Cleaning	procedure	first,	and	if	necessary	move	to	the	more	intensive
    procedures.
Use the following as general guidelines for using your DVD/CD Disc
    Repair Plus system:
    Minor Damage
The following symptoms may indicate minor damage: scrambled screen,
signal	skipping,	abnormal	noise,	unstable	signal,	or	cannot	read	file.
Recommendations: Preform the Disc Cleaning procedure, then test the disc\

for	improvements.	If	disc	is	not	sufficiently	restored,	follow	with	the	Disc
    Repair procedure.
    Major Damage
Symptoms indicating Major Damage include frozen screen, no sound, no
loading, system, or drive is not accessible.
Recommendations: First clean the disc with the Disc Cleaning procedure. \
Next,	use	the	Disc	Buffing	procedure	and	finish	with	the	Disc	Repair
    procedure.
Check for improvements to the disc’s condition. If not repaired, repeat the
Disc	Repair	procedure	until	the	disc	is	sufficiently	restored.
