    softener,asrequired
    Thedetergentpackagingwillhave
    recommendationsforhowmuchdetergentyou
    shoulduse.Themachineholds7kgofwashing.
    Ifyouonlyhaveasmallamountoflaundryinthe
    machine,youcanreducetheamountofdetergent
    used.
    Powderdetergent
    Pourthepowderintothecompartmentforthe
    mainwash,andpre-washaswellifdesired.
    Liquiddetergent
    Whenusingliquiddetergent,followthedetergent
    manufacturer’srecommendations.We
    recommendalwaysusingawashballwithvery
    thickliquiddetergent.
    Washballornet
    Ifyouuseawashballornet,placeitdirectlyin
    thedrumandselectaprogramwithoutpre-wash.
    NOTE!
    Detergentoverdosingdoesnotgivebetter
    washingresults;itmerelycausesagreater
    impactontheenvironment;canalsohinderthe
    washperformance.
    Tryusinglessdetergent,andincreaseonlyif
    youarenotsatisfiedwiththeresults.
    Fabricsoftener
    Pourthefabricsoftenerintothecompartmentwith
    thesymbol.Followtherecommendationson
    thefabricsoftenerpackaging.
    NOTE!
    Donotfillabovethecompartment’smaximum
    filllevel.Otherwisefabricsoftenerwillrunintoo

    Selecttheprogram
    Youselectaprogrambyturningtheprogramselector.AnLEDlightsupbesidetheselectedprogram
    andtheestimatedprogramtimeisshowninthedisplay.Theprogramtimeisbasedonthetimelasttaken
    bythesameprogram.Usetheoptionbuttonstoselectanyoptions.
    1.Auto
    Thisprogramautomaticallyadjuststhelengthof
    themainwashandthenumberofrinsestothe
    amountoflaundryloadedinthemachine.
    2.Heavy
    Programforheavilysoiledlaundry,withdirtthat
    needstobefullydissolvedbeforethemainwash.
    Apre-washisusedtodothis.Youcanselectthe
    temperaturefreely,sofollowthewashing
    instructionsforeachgarment.Thehighest
    temperature,95°C,issuitableforveryheavily
    soiledlaundry.Thespinspeedcanbeselected
    freely.Themachineadaptstheprogramtimeand
    waterconsumptiontotheloadsize.
    3.Normal
    Programfornormaltoheavilysoiledlaundry,
    whitesandcolours.Youcanselectthe
    temperaturefreely,sofollowthewashing
    instructionsforeachgarment.60°Cisagood
    temperatureforheavilysoiledcottongarments,
    aswellasforgarmentswornnexttotheskin.
    Select40°Cifthelaundryislesssoiled.Thespin
    speedcanbeselectedfreely.Themachineadapts
    theprogramtimeandwaterconsumptiontothe
    loadsize.
    4.Colour/White
    Astandardprogramforlightlytomoderatelysoiled
    laundry.Thetemperaturecanbeselectedfreely,
    sofollowthewashinginstructionsforeach
    garment.Garmentswornnexttotheskinought
    tobewashedat60°C.Verylightlysoiledlaundry
    oftencomescleanalreadyat40°C.Thespin
    speedcanbeselectedfreely.Themachineadapts
    theprogramtimeandwaterconsumptiontothe
    loadsize.

    Fastprogramforlaundrythatjustneeds
    fresheningup.Theprogramcanberunatany

    availableoptionsdependontheselectedprogram.Iftheoptionisavailablefortheselectedprogram,
    thesymbolslightsupwhenyoupressthebutton.
    Themachinewillremembertheoptionsyouselectforeachprogram(withoneexception–DelayedStart).
    Youcanstillchangetheselectedoptionsthenexttimeyouselecttheprograminquestion.
    Temperature
    •SelectthetemperaturebypressingthebuttonuntiltheLEDbythedesiredtemperaturelights.
    •Youcanselecttemperaturesbetween20°Cand95°C.ForWool/handwashyoucannotchoosea
    temperaturehigherthan40°C,whenchoosingSyntheticsorEasyCarethemaximumtemperature
    is60°C.
    Spin
    •SelectthespinspeedbypressingthebuttonuntiltheLEDbythedesiredspeedlights.
    •Youcanselectspeedsbetween400and1400rpm,NospinorNodrain.Themaximumspinspeed
    variesaccordingtotheprogramselected,sochecktheLEDsaroundthebutton.
    •,meansthattheprogramdoesnotincludeaspincycleandendsbydraining.
    •Nodrainmeansthattheprogramdoesnotincludeaspincycleandendswiththewaterfromthe
    finalrinsestillinthemachine.Thewashingwillremaincoveredbythewaterfromthefinalrinse,
    stoppingitfromgettingcreased.Ifyouhaveselected"Nodrain",youmustselecttheSpin&Drain
    programandthesymbol(nospin)oncetheprogramhasendedtodrainthewaterfromthemachine
    beforeyouopenthewasherdoor.
    DelayedStart
    WhenyouselectDelayedStart,themachinewillstart1–24hoursafteryoupresstheStart/Stopbutton.
    •PressthebuttonbythesymboltoactivateDelayedStart.
    •Bypressingthebuttonagainyoucandelaythestartinwholehoursuptoamaximumof24hours.
    •PressStart/Stop,andthemachinecountsdown1houratatimeandstartsaftertheselecteddelay.
    IfyouchangeyourmindandwanttocancelDelayedStart,youmustpressandholdStart/Stopforthree
    seconds.
    NOTE!
    RemembertopresstheStart/Stopbuttontostarttheprogram.
    NOTE!
    Makesurethedetergentcompartmentiscompletelydrybeforeyouadddetergent,otherwisethereis
    ariskthatthedetergentwillclumpbeforethemachinestarts.

    •SelectSuperRinsebypressingthebuttonbythesymbol.

    Whentheprogramstartsanestimatedprogram
    time,inhoursandminutes,isdisplayed.The
    remainingtimeisupdatedthreetimesduringthe
    program,basedontheactualloadandthe
    incomingwatertemperature.Thefirstupdate
    takesplaceafterabout15minutes.Theremaining
    timeislastupdatedjustbeforethefinalrinse.
    Toaddorremovewashingafterthe
    programstarts
    Ifyouwanttoaddorremoveitemsafterthe
    programhasstarted,youcanstoptheprogram
    bypressingandholdingtheDooropeningbutton
    (keysymbol)forthreeseconds.Theprogramtime
    flashesonthedisplay.Whenyourestartthe
    machine,addanyextradetergentneededand
    closethewasherdoor.Themachinecontinues
    automaticallyfromthepointwheretheprogram
    wasinterrupted.
    Stoppingorchangingaprogram
    Youcanstopaprogrambypressingthe
    Start/Stopbuttonforthreeseconds.Torestartthe
    machine,selectanewprogram,addanyextra
    detergentneededandpresstheStart/Stopbutton.
    NOTE!
    Donotopenthedetergentcompartmentwhile
    themachineisrunning.

    Oncetheprogramhasfinished
    Oncetheprogramhasfinished,"End"
    appearsinthedisplay.
    Thewasherdooropensautomaticallyoncethe
    programhasfinished.Ifyouwanttodeactivate
    theautomaticdooropeningfunction,seethe
    "Selectingsettings"section.
    •Removetheload.
    •Turnoffthemainpowerswitch,thiswillsave
    energy.
    Ifyouhavesmallchildrenorpetsathome,close
    thewasherdooronceyouhaveremovedthe
    laundry.

    Twominutesafterthewashprogramfinishesthe
    displaybacklightingentersenergysavingmode.

    Extrarinses
    Upondelivery,yourwashingmachineissettousethreerinsesintheNormalandColour/Whiteprograms.
    Ifyouwanttoincreasethenumberofrinsestofivefortheseprograms,doasfollows:
    1.Turnoffthemachineusingthemainpowerswitch.
    2.PressandholdtheDelayedstartbuttonandthenswitchonthemainpowerswitch.
    3.Thedisplayshows"RO"ifextrarinses(5rinses)isactivatedor"RF"ifitisnotactivated(3rinses).
    4.Turntheprogramselectortochangethesetting.
    5.PresstheDooropeningbuttontosavethesetting.

    1.Makesurethemachineisemptyofwaterand
    switchedoffatthemains.
    2.Openthedoor.
    3.Unhookthedrainagehosefromtheconnector
    insidethedooranddrainthewaterintoa
    suitablecontainer,suchasashallowbowl.
    4.Turnthecoveranti-clockwisetoopenthe
    pump.Removethecover.
    5.Removeanyitemsandsoforthfromthepump
    housingandthecover.Alsocheckthatthe
    pumpbladesrightatthebackrotate.
    6.Screwonthecover,replacethedrainagehose
    onthehatchpinandclosethehatch.
    Cleaningthedetergent
    compartment
    NOTE!
    Donotrunthedetergentcompartmentthrough
    adishwasher!
    Pullthedetergentcompartmentoutasfarasit
    willgo.
    Liftthedetergentcompartmentasyoupullitout
    toremoveitfromthemachine.
    Rinsethecompartmentandscrubitclean.The
    fabricsoftenercompartmentcovercanbe
    removed.
    Cleaningtheoutsideofthemachine
    Cleantheoutsideofthemachineandtheprogram
    panelwithamildcleaner.Donotuseany
    solvents,asthesecandamagethemachine.
    NOTE!
    Donothosedownthemachinewithwater!

    							Cleaningtheinsideofthemachine
    toavoidunpleasantsmells
    Moderndetergentsoftenallowclothestobe
    washedatlowtemperatures.Thismeansthat
    smalldepositscanbuildupinthemachine.These,
    inturn,mayleadtounpleasantsmellsdeveloping;
    especiallyifconstantlyusingcoldwash.
    Toavoidthis,werecommendrunninga95°C
    washprogramonceamonth.Whenyoudothis,
    useasmallquantityofdetergent.Itisnot
    necessarytoputanywashinginthemachine.

    							Rinseholesundertheagitator
    Ifyoususpectthatobjectssuchasnailsorpaper
    clipsmayhavefallenintothewashdrum,you
    shouldcheckthespaceundertheagitator.Such
    objectscanrustandcausespotsonclothing.
    Nailsandothersharpobjectscancauseholesin
    fabrics.
    Doasfollows:
    1.Insertascrewdriverorthelikeintotheholeon
    theagitatorasillustratedandcarefullypryto
    theleft.
    2.Useyourotherhandtograsptheagitatorand
    pullittowardsyou.
    3.Lifttheagitator.
    4.Removeanyobjects.
    5.Placetheagitatorinthemountingholewiththe
    F-marktowardsyou.Ensurethatalltheagitator
    fastenersareintheirholesinthedrum.Push
    itinuntilitcatches.
    Ifyouhavehardwater
    Ifyouliveinanareawithhardwater(high
    limescalecontent),agreyish-whitecoatingmay
    formonthewashdrum.Toremovethiscoating,
    pourapproximately20gramofcitricacidintothe
    washdrumandrunany95°Cprogram.Repeat
    ifnecessary.
