    SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
    This product is for household use only.
    POLARIZED PLUG (120V models only)
    This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade 
    is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of 
    electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a 
    polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does 
    not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it 
    still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. 
    Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
    TAMPER-RESISTANT SCREW
    Warning:  This appliance is equipped with a 
    tamper-resistant screw to prevent removal 
    of the outer cover. To reduce the risk of fire 
    or electric shock, do not attempt to remove 
    the outer cover. There are no user-serviceable 
    parts inside. Repair should be done only by 
    authorized service personnel.
    Note:  If the power supply cord is damaged, it 
    should be replaced by qualified personnel; in 
    Latin America, by an authorized service center.ELECTRICAL CORD
    1)    A short power-supply cord is provided to 
    reduce the risk resulting from becoming 
    entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
    2)   Longer detachable power cords or extension 
    cords are available and may be used if care is 
    exercised in their use.
    3)   If a long detachable power-supply cord or 
    extension cord is used,
      a)  The marked electrical rating of the 
    extension cord should be at least as great 
    as the electrical rating of the appliance,
      b)  If the appliance is of the grounded 
    type, the extension cord should be a 
    grounding-type 3-wire cord, and
      c)  The longer cord should be arranged so 
    that it will not drape over the countertop 
    or tabletop where it can be pulled on by

    GETTING STARTED
    • Remove all packing material, any \bticker\b from the product, and the 
    pla\btic band around the plug.
    •  Remove and \bave literature.
    •  Plea\be vi\bit www.prodprotect.com/applica to regi\bter your warranty.
    •  Wa\bh all removable part\b a\b in\btructed in CARE AND CLEA\CNING  
    \bection of thi\b manu\Cal. 
    HOW TO USE
    Thi\b product i\b for hou\behold u\be on\Cly.
    USING YOUR BLENDER
    Important: Appliance should always have lid in place when in use.
    Caution: Do not pla\mce blender jar onto base when motor is running.
    1.  \fake \bure appliance i\b OFF.
    2.  Place food\b to be blended into jar. For be\bt re\bult\b place ingredient\b in jar 
    in the following order: liquid\b, powder\b, \boft food\b, hard food\b, ice.
    3.  Place lid on jar; make \bure lid cap i\b in pla\Cce.
    4.  Plug power cord into outlet.
      Note:  When in u\be, do not leave blender unattended. When u\bing h\Card 
    food\b, \buch a\b ice or chee\be, keep one hand on th\Ce lid to keep blender in 
    place.
    5.  Select the \bpeed th\Cat be\bt \buit\b your de\bired ta\bk. (See SPEED\C CHART)
    6.  When blending thic\Ck mixture\b \buch a\b \bmoothie\b a\Cnd milk\bhake\b, pre\b\b 
    the PULSE button for \beveral \becond\b, then relea\be. Repeat until food ha\b 
    de\bired con\bi\btency. Relea\bing the PULSE \Cbutton automatically turn\b the 
    blender off (C). 
      Note: U\be PULSE for no more than five \becond\b at a time, 
    allowing the blender t\Co re\bt briefly between each pul\be, 
    no more than two minute\b total. Thi\b help\b break up the 
    ice and di\btribute the ingredient\b.
    BLENDER JAR ASSE\fBLY
    1.  Turn blending jar u\Cp\bide down and place flat on  
    counter top or work \burface.
    2.  Place the blade a\b\bembly in bottom opening of the j\Car   
    with blade\b down. (A) 
    3.  Place jar ba\be onto jar and rotate clockwi\be until it i\b ti\Cght. 
    4.  Turn a\b\bembled jar right \bi\Cde up.
    5.  Place lid with lid cap\C on blender jar.
    6.  Uncoil power cord from \btorage area under the ba\be.
    7.  Place jar a\b\bembly on ba\be. (B).
    8.  Blender i\b now ready for u\be.

    BLENDING TIPS AND \JTECHNIQUES 
    • Cut food into piece\b no larger than 3⁄4” for u\be in the blend\Cer.
    •  When preparing food\b that have \beveral different kind\b of ingredient\b, 
    alway\b add liquid ingredient\b fir\bt.
    •  When ingredient\b \bplatter onto the \bide\b of the \Cjar or the mixture i\b very 
    thick, pre\b\b the PULSE/OFF button to turn appliance off. Remove the 
    lid and u\be a rubbe\Cr \bpatula to \bcrape down the \bide\b of the\C jar and to 
    redi\btribute the food, pu\bhing food toward the blade\b. Replace the lid 
    and continue blending.
    •  The lid cap hold\b up\C to 2 oz. of liquid and c\Can be u\bed a\b a mea\bu\Cre 
    when adding ingredient\b \buch a\b juic\Ce\b, milk, cream or liquor. 
    •  When making bread crumb\b make \bure blender jar i\b completely dry.
    •  When u\bing PULSE fu\Cnction, u\be \bhort b\Cur\bt\b. Allow the blade\b to \btop 
    rotating between pul\be\b. Do not \Cu\be PULSE for more than 2 minute\b.
    •  U\be the ICE CRUSH bu\Ctton when preparing beverage\b that include ice 
    cube\b or anything frozen; thi\b help\b to produce a \bmoother texture.
    •  It i\b helpful to begin the blendi\Cng proce\b\b on the lowe\bt \bpeed and then 
    increa\be to a higher \bpeed, i\Cf nece\b\bary.
    •  To \btop blending at any time, pre\b\b the PULSE/OFF button.
    •  When blending hot \Cingredient\b, remove the lid cap and \Cthen put it back 
    partly open, with \Cthe opened \bide til\Cted away from you. Cover lid with a 
    cloth to avoid \bplattering and only u\be \Cthe lowe\bt \bpeed. Do not ble\Cnd 
    more than 2
    1⁄2 to 3 cup\b at a time. 
    •  Do not \btore food\b in the blendin\Cg jar.
    •  Do not overfill the blender \C(the blender i\b more efficient with le\C\b\b rather 
    than more).
    •  Do not run blender\C for longer than 1
    1⁄2 minute\b at a time. Scrape down 
    \bide\b of blending j\Car, if nece\b\bary, and continue blending.
    •  Do not u\be if blend\Cing jar i\b chipped \Cor cracked.
    •  It i\b not recommended to u\be your blender to beat egg white\b, mix 
    dough, ma\bh potatoe\b, or grind meat\b.
    7. 
    Open the lid cap t\Co add ingredient\b while the b\Clender i\b 
    running and drop ingredient\b through the opening (\CD). 
      Important: Do not remove the lid while the\m blender is 
    running.
    8.  When fini\bhed, pre\b\b the PULSE/OFF button. \fake \bure 
    blade\b have completely \btopped before attempting to 
    remove the blending jar\C from the ba\be.
    9.  To remove the jar, gra\bp the handle and \Clift up.
    10.  Remove lid to pour.
    11.  Alway\b unplug the applia\Cnce when not in u\be.

    CARE AND CLEANING
    Thi\b product contain\b no u\ber \berv\Ciceable part\b. Refer \bervice to qualified  
    \bervice per\bonnel.
    CLEANING:
    1.   Before cleaning, turn o\Cff and unplug the \Cappliance.
    2.  Lift the blending \Cjar by the handle off t\Che ba\be.
    3.  Remove jar ba\be by turning it counterclockwi\be until loo\be.
    4.  Remove the blade a\b\bembly.
      Caution: Blades are sharp, handle carefully.
    5.  Remove lid and lid cap.
    6.  Wa\bh removable part\b by hand or in the d\Ci\bhwa\bher. Place the jar on the 
    bottom rack and the re\bt of the part\b on t\Che top rack only.
    HELPFUL TIPS: •  For quick cleanup, combine 1 cup hot water and a drop of liquid di\bh \b\Coap   
    in the blending ja\Cr.
    •  Cover and blend on CLE\CAN for about 30 \becond\b.
    •  Di\bcard liquid and rin\be \Cthoroughly.
      Important:
    •  Do not place the jar part\b in \Cboiling liquid\b.
    •  Do not immer\be the b\Ca\be in liquid. Wipe the ba\be with a\C damp cloth and 
    dry thoroughly.
    •   Remove \btubborn \bpot\b by rubbing with a d\Camp cloth and nonab\Cra\bive 
    cleaner.
      Note: If liquid\b \bpill on\Cto the ba\be, wipe with a damp \Ccloth and dry 
    thoroughly. Do not u\be rough \bcouring pad\b or clea\Cn\ber\b on part\b or fin\Ci\bh.
    RECIPES
    BLUE CHEESE SALAD DRESSING
    Thi\b creamy, fre\bh dre\b\bing i\b great with any \balad green\b. Try it a\b a dip with\C 
    chicken wing\b or a\b a di\Cp for your favorite veggie\b.
    1⁄2 cup \bour cream1⁄4 cup mayonnai\be
    1 Tb\bp. fre\bh chopped par\bley 1 garlic clove, peeled and chopp\Ced
    2 t\bp. lemon juice1⁄8 t\bp. each, \balt and pe\Cpper
    Place all ingredient\b in blender \Cjar. Cover; pre\b\b Blend/Stir and run 30 \becond\b 
    or until blended.
    Store covered in refrigerator up to 2 day\b. Stir before u\bing. For a larger 
    batch, double the recipe and prepare u\bing the full \bi\Cze blender jar.

    QUICK AND EASY SALSA

    de Gallo when tomatoe\b are no longer in \bea\b\Con. Serve it with your favorite 
    chip\b or a\b a topping for taco\b.2  can\b (10 oz.) diced tomatoe\b 
    with green chilie\b
    1⁄2 \bmall onion, quartered
    1   \bmall jalapeno peppe\Cr, \beeded, 
    deveined
    1   clove garlic, peeled a\Cnd 
    \bma\bhed
    1⁄2  cup loo\bely packed cilantro 
    leave\b
    1 Tb\bp. lime juice
    1 t\bp. \bugar
    1⁄2 t\bp. cumin1⁄2 t\bp. \balt
    Place all ingredient\b in blender \Cjar. Cover and pul\be 30 \bec\Cond\b or to de\bired 
    con\bi\btency. For a \bmall batch, cut recipe in half and \Cblend in your per\bonal 
    \bize blender jar.

    ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
