    3. Click a category.
    4. Press the  Menu key.
    5. Click  Download Images .
    Media shortcuts Depending on the typing input language that you are using, some shortcuts might not be available.
    Audio and video files
    • To pause an audio or video file, press the  Mute key on the top of your BlackBerry® device. To resume playing an audio or video file, press
    the  Mute  key again.
    • To play the next song, press and hold the  Volume Up key on the right side of your device.
    • To play the previous song, press and hold the  Volume Down key on the right side of your device.
    • If you are using a headset, to turn on the audio boost feature to amplify the volume for songs, ring tones, and videos, press the  Volume
    Up  key until you reach the highest volume setting, and then press the  Volume Up key four times quickly.
    Pictures
    To pan a picture, you must first be zoomed in.
    • To zoom in to a picture, press  3. To zoom to the original picture size, press  7.
    • To zoom out from a picture, press  9. To zoom to the original picture size, press  7.
    • To pan up in a picture, press  2.

    • To return to the center of a picture, press  5.
    • To rotate a picture, press  L.
    • To fit a picture to the screen size, press  1.
    Camera and video camera
    • To zoom in to a subject before taking a picture, press the  Volume Up key.
    • To zoom out from a subject before taking a picture, press the  Volume Down key.
    • To take a picture, press the  Right Convenience key.
    • To change the flash mode for a picture, if available, or to turn on low-light mode for a video, press the  Space key.
    Media troubleshooting
    I cannot play a media file on a web page Your BlackBerry® device might not support the size or file format of the media file.
    I cannot open media files Try performing the following actions: •If you are trying to open a media file on your  BlackBerry® device and your device is connected to your computer, disconnect your device
    from the computer or turn off mass storage mode or MTP.
    • If you are trying to open a media file on your computer using mass storage mode or MTP, verify that you have closed the media manager
    tool of the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager.
    • If you are trying to open a media file on your computer using the media manager tool of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, verify that
    mass storage mode or MTP is turned off on your device.
    • If you encrypted the media files on your media card using an encryption key that your device generated and you are trying to open an
    encrypted media file using your computer or a device other than the BlackBerry device that you used to encrypt the file, insert the
    media card into the BlackBerry device that you used to encrypt the file. In the memory options, change the  Encryption Mode field to
    None  or Security Password .

    I cannot save media files Your BlackBerry® device memory or media card might not have enough available memory to store media files.
    Try performing the following actions: • If you are trying to save a media file to your device memory, delete old data or messages from your device.

    							• In the camera options, verify that the Picture Quality field is not set to  Superfine. Superfine pictures use more memory than fine or
    normal pictures.
    • If possible, increase the maximum amount of memory available for pictures.

    My device does not recognize my media card Try performing the following actions: • Verify that your media card is inserted in your BlackBerry® device correctly. For more information about inserting a media card intoyour device, see the printed documentation that came with your device.
    • In your media card options, if there is a message to format your media card, disconnect your device from your computer. Turn off mass
    storage mode or MTP. Format the media card. Turn on mass storage mode or MTP.

    My device is not using the correct ring tone or wallpaper If you are using a ring tone or wallpaper picture that you encrypted in the device memory or on the media card using your  BlackBerry® device

    The flash dims or turns off If the camera has a flash, and the battery power level drops below 20 percent, the flash dims to conserve battery power. In cold temperatures,
    when the battery power level drops below 20 percent, the flash might turn off.
    Some pictures that I take are blurry In low lighting conditions, the camera might compensate for the lack of exposure by using a slower shutter speed. If you move the camera
    before the shutter clicks, the picture might be blurry. If the camera is using a slower shutter speed, an exclamation point indicator appears at
    the bottom of the screen.
    Depending on your BlackBerry® device model, you might be able to decrease the blurriness in pictures that is caused by slight movements of
    the camera by turning on image stabilization in the camera options.
    Some features are not available on my device The availability of certain features on your  BlackBerry® device might be affected based on various items such as your device model and wireless

    Browsing web pages Visit a web page
    Depending on your wireless service provider, multiple browsers might appear on your BlackBerry® device. For more information about the
    charges associated with using each browser, contact your wireless service provider.
    1. On the Home screen, click the  Browser icon.
    2. Perform one of the following actions: • If a web address field appears on the screen, type a web address.
    • If a web address field does not appear on the screen, press the 
     key. Click  Go To. Type a web address.
    3. Press the  Enter key.
    Search the Internet
    To perform this task, your email account must use the BlackBerry® Internet Service that supports this feature. For more information, contact
    your wireless service provider.
    1. On the Home screen, click the  Browser icon.
    2. Perform one of the following actions: • If the  Search here  field appears on the screen, type the search terms.
    • If the  Search here  field does not appear on the screen, press the  Menu key. Click  Go To. Type the search terms.
    3. Press the  Enter key.
    Switch browser views
    You can view web pages in Column view or Page view. Column view displays web pages in a mobile view format. Page view displays web pages
    in a wide screen format that is similar to the format that the browser on your computer uses to display web pages.
    1. On a web page, press the  Menu key.
    2. Click  Column View  or Page View .
    Zoom in to or out from a web page
    On a web page, press the  Menu key.
    To zoom back to the original web page size, press the  Escape key.

    Save a web page to a message list
    A saved web page displays content that was current at the time that you saved the web page.

    Stop loading a web page
    1. When a web page is loading, press the  Menu key.
    2. Click  Stop.
    Search for text in a message, in an attachment, or on a web page
    To search for text in a presentation, you must view the presentation in text view or in text and slide view.
    1. In a message, in an attachment, or on a web page, press the  Menu key.
    2. Click  Find.
    3. Type the text.
    4. Press the  Enter key.
    To search for the next instance of the text, press the  Menu key. Click  Find Next.
    View a list of web pages you visited recently
    Depending on the browser configuration that you used to visit a web page or add a bookmark, when you click the web page in the browser
    history or bookmark list, the web page might open in the browser that you used to visit the web page and not the browser that you set as your
    default browser configuration. Extra fees might apply for using a different browser. For more information about the fees associated with each
    of the browsers that are available on your BlackBerry® device, contact your wireless service provider.

    2. Click  Copy Address .
    To paste the address, press the  Menu key. Click  Paste.

    1. On the Home screen, click the  Browser icon.
    2. On a web page, press the  Menu key.
    3. Click  Send Address .
    4. Click a message type.
    To return to the browser after you send the message, press the  Escape key.

    View a full picture on a web page
    1. On a web page, highlight or pause on a picture.
    2. Press the  Menu key.
    3. Click  Full Image .
    Zoom in to or out from a picture
    1. In a picture, press the  Menu key.
    2. Click  Zoom.
    To zoom back to the original picture size, press the  Menu key. Click  Fit to Screen .
    To close the picture, press the  Escape key once in the camera or twice in the media application.

    							Browser bookmarks
    About bookmarks for web pages You can add bookmarks for web pages that you visit frequently. When you add a bookmark, you can set whether you want the browser to check
    the web page for updates periodically. Bookmarks for web pages that have been updated since the last time you visited them appear in italic.
    Add a bookmark for a web page Depending on the browser configuration that you used to visit a web page or add a bookmark, when you click the web page in the browser
    history or bookmark list, the web page might open in the browser that you used to visit the web page and not the browser that you set as your
    default browser configuration. Extra fees might apply for using a different browser. For more information about the fees associated with each

    1. On a web page, press the  Menu key.
    2. Click  Add Bookmark .
    3. In the  Auto Synchronize  field, set how often the browser should check for updates to the web page.
    4. In the  Start time field, set the time of day when the browser should start checking for updates.
    5. Click  Add.
    If you visit the web page offline, the browser displays the content that was current the last time that you viewed the web page online.
    Change a bookmark for a web page 1. On the Home screen, click the  Browser icon.
    2. Press the  Menu key.
    3. Click  Bookmarks .
    4. Highlight a bookmark.
