    When the symbol picker opens, the keyboard characters map to the symbols. Swipe down again to scroll to the next page of the symbol picker.
    2. Tap the corresponding key to use the mapped symbol on the screen.
    If you tap the symbol on the screen, mapped mode is cancelled.

    Change keyboard, input, or typing settings
    You can personalize your typing experience by changing the BlackBerry Keyboard, input, or typing settings on your BlackBerry device.

    You can change your typing settings to help you type faster on your BlackBerry Keyboard. Keyboard feedback provides an
    audible indication of your typing progress or when a misspelled word is corrected.

    Your BlackBerry device is designed to learn what you tend to say and where in a sentence you tend to say it. Your device
    uses this information to try to predict what word you might type next and displays suggested words on the row of touch screen keys above the keyboard. You can quickly select a suggested word by placing your 
    finger on the keyboard under the
    word and 
    flicking it up toward the screen.

    Turn on spell check
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap   Settings  > Language and Input  > Spell Check .
    3. Set the  Spell Check switch to On.
    Accept spelling suggestions If spell check is turned on, spelling mistakes are underlined in red as you type.

    Clear the learned words list
    The BlackBerry Keyboard learns words and phrasing based on your usage to predict the next word you write. You can clear the word list used for word suggestions with the following steps:
    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap   Settings  > Language and Input  > Prediction and Correction .
    3. Tap Clear Learned Words .
    Note: As you continue to type, the learned word list is regenerated unless you set the  Learn New Words switch to O

    If you speak more than one language, you can use the language settings to change your display, typing, voice input, or
    BlackBerry Keyboard language. You can also switch to another typing language while you type.

    1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.

    3. In the Language drop-down list, tap the language that you want to use.
