Printing in the quiet mode only  for specific  printing
Specify the  quiet mode in the  printer driver  when making  print settings.  For basic  printing using the  printer

Basic Print Operations
This section  explains how to  print a document on  your computer  by using the  printer driver.
Open a document  in an application and  display the print dialog  box.
How  to  display the  print dialog  box differs for  each application.  For more information, see  the  instruction  manual  for  the
application you are  using.

Canceling Print Jobs
There  are  two methods of canceling printing: from a computer  and  from the  operation panel of the  printer.
From a Computer
From the Operation Panel
You  can cancel print jobs  from the  Printer Status Window.
Select the machine by clicking   in the system  tray.
The Printer Status Window  is  displayed.
Cancel the print job.

Checking the Print Status
You  can check  the  current  print status in the  Printer Status Window.  This is  convenient  if  you have been waiting  for  a long time  for  your
document to  be printed,  and  you want to  see  a list  of the  documents waiting  to  be printed.
Select the machine by clicking   in the system  tray.
Select [Job]  [Job Status].
A list  of up  to  5  documents appears, showing documents that  are  being printed or waiting  to  be printed.

Enlarging or Reducing
You  can make enlarged or reduced  printouts by using a preset  print ratio, such as A5  to  A4, or a custom print
ratio that  you set in increments of 1%.

Switching between 1-Sided and 2-Sided Printing
This machine can perform  both  1 -sided  and  2 -sided  printing.  The default  setting is  [2 -sided  Printing]. Change
the  setting as necessary.
2 -sided  printing may  not  be available with some  sizes and  types of paper.  Paper
[Basic Settings] tab
