    Ifyou need toscan additional pagesinadocument, clickAddpage .Place additional pageson

    product forscanning, clickScan ,and repeat untilyouhave scanned allthe pages. Whenyou
     are
    finished, clickSave File.
     •
    Ifyou need todelete orreorder thescanned pages,clickEditpage .Delete orreorder thepages
     using
    theicons thatappear onthe bottom ofthe editing window. Whenyouarefinished, clickOK.
     Note:
    Ifyou installed anOCR (Optical Character Recognition) program,youmay seeascreen
     indicating
    theprogram isconverting yourpage totext. Wait untiltheprogram re-scans thepage and
     close
    theprogram, ifnecessary.

    Click Close toexit theEpson Scanwindow, ifnecessary.
     Epson
    Scanscans youroriginal, andsaves thePDF fileinthe selected folderoropens itin your
     scanning
    program.Ifthe filewas saved directly toyour computer, youseethefileinthe Windows
     Explorer
    orOS XFinder, whereyoucanview andprint thedocument, ifdesired.

     Before
    checking theinklevel orrefilling anink tank asdescribed here,besure toread theinksafety

    Keep inkbottles andtheinktank unitoutofthe reach ofchildren. Donot allow children todrink fromor

    Do not tiltorshake anink bottle afterremoving itsseal; otherwise, inkmay leak.

    Use inkbottles withthecorrect partnumber forthis product.
     •
    The useofnon-Epson inkmay cause damage thatisnot covered byEpson ’s warranty, andunder
     certain
    circumstances, maycause erratic product behavior.

    This product requires carefulhandling ofink. Inkmay splatter whentheinktanks arefilled orrefilled
     with
    ink.Ifink gets onyour clothes orbelongings, itmay notcome off.
     •
    Do not open theinkbottle package untilyouareready tofill an ink tank. Inkbottles arevacuum
     packed
    tomaintain reliability. Ifyou leave anink bottle unpacked foralong timebefore usingit,print
     quality
    maybeaffected.
     •
    Ifthe inklevel isbelow thelower lineonthe inktank, refilltheinksoon. Continued useofthe product
     when
    theinklevel isbelow thelower lineonthe inktank could damage theproduct.

    Epson recommends fillingallink tanks tothe upper linewhen theproduct isnot operating toreset the
     ink
    levels.
     •
    After bringing anink bottle inside fromacold storage site,allow itto warm upatroom temperature for
     at
    least three hours before usingit.
     •
    Store inkbottles inacool, darkplace.
     •
    Store theinkbottles inthe same environment asthe product. Whenstoring ortransporting anink
     bottle
    afterremoving itsseal, donot tiltthe bottle anddonot subject itto impacts ortemperature
     changes.
    Otherwise, inkmay leakeven ifthe cap onthe inkbottle istightened securely.Besure to
     keep
    theinkbottle upright whentightening thecap, andtake measures toprevent inkfrom leaking
     when
    youtransport thebottle.

    To maintain optimum printhead performance, someinkisconsumed fromallink tanks during printing
     and
    when performing maintenance operations,suchascleaning theprint head.
     •
    The inkbottles maycontain recycled materials, butthis does notaffect product function or
     performance.

    When printing inmonochrome orgrayscale, colorinkmay beused instead ofblack ink,depending on
     the
    paper typeorprint quality settings. Thisisbecause amixture ofcolor inksisused tocreate black.
