    							The LCD monitor can be tilted for easier viewing, but be careful not to touch the wires or trap
    fingers or other objects behind the monitor. Touching the wires  could cause camera malfunction.

    							The camera is equipped with diopter adjustment to accommodate individual differences in vision.
    Rotate the diopter adjustment co ntrol until the viewfinder display is in sharp focus.

    The indicator lamp shows camera status as follows:
    Focus locked.
    Blur, focus, or exposure warning. Picture can be taken.
    Recording pictures. Additional pictures can be taken.
    Recording pictures. No additional pictures can be taken at this
    time.
    Flash charging; flash will no t fire when picture is taken.
    The zoom ring is posi tioned between ON and OFF. Pictures cannot
    be taken.
    Lens or memory error.
    Warnings may also appear in the display.

    							The [DISP/BACK] button controls the display of indicators in the viewfinder and LCD monitor.

    The items shown in the standard display ( ) can be selected as described below.
    Select  [SCREEN SET-UP]  > [DISP. CUSTOM SETTING]  in the setup menu.

    Highlight items and press [MENU/OK] to select or deselect. Selected items are indicated
    by a check mark.2. 
    Press  [DISP/BACK] to exit when settings are complete.3. 
    ELECTRONIC LEVEL
    Selecting  [ELECTRONIC LEVEL]  displays a virtual horizon. The camera is level when the
    two lines overlap.
    The virtual horizon may not be displayed if  the camera lens is pointed up or down.

    Histograms show the distribution of tones  in the image. Brightness is shown by the
    horizontal axis, the number of pixels by the vertical axis.
