Chapter 2. Setting up the projector 
This chapter provides information on positioning the projector, connecting a 
computer source and displaying and adjusting an image. 
Starting the projector 
To start the projector, do the following. 
1.   
 Connect the power cord to the projector as shown below. Connect the other 
end of the cord to an electrical outlet. The Power and Lamp-ready LEDs turn 
on.

 Attach any wired input devices.

Attention:   Do not look directly into the projection lens when the lamp is 
turned on. The bright light might harm your eyes.

 If you have connected more than one input device to the projector, toggle the 
Source button to change devices. (DVD and HDTV are supported through the 
DVI-I cable connector.)

Note:   Leave the power cable plugged in for at least 2-5 minutes until the 
projector returns to room temperature before placing the projector inside 
the soft case. Placing the projector into the case too soon after switching 
off the power could cause the projector to overheat.

Chapter 3. Using the wireless features 
This chapter provides information on using the wireless features of the C400 
Wireless Projector. 
Installation 
Follow the instructions below to install the Lenovo Wireless Projecting Software. 
Note:   If there is a previous version of Lenovo Wireless Projecting Software, it is 
recommended to first uninstall it, then restart the computer prior to 
installing the new version. 
To install the software from the CD or view the User ’s guide:

Note:   If no WLAN adapter is found, the system will give a warning message, 
and the task tray icon will dim.

 From the list of projectors found, double-click the projector ’s ID. 
5. 
 
 If the projector is WEP-enabled, enter the correct session key from the projector 
screen. A correct session key is required in order to start a wireless projecting 
session.
After
 a successful wireless projecting session, the session key will be remembered 
until you exit the wireless projecting software....

To indicate that binding is on, the projector icon in the list of wireless projectors 
displays a blue double arrow. 
Once binding is selected with one wireless projector, the user can simply toggle 
projection on/off with the hotkey combination Ctrl+F5 or by selecting Project and 
End Project from the system tray icon. 
To unbind the projector, start the wireless projector software and right-click over 
the bound projector in the list (indicated by the blue double arrow). De-select
