Selecting adapter 
In the Adapter tab the current WLAN adapter will be shown. 
   
 
If there is more than one WLAN adapter in your notebook computer, you can 
perform wireless projection while browsing the Internet. Yo u can select one of the 
WLAN adapters to project by clicking the drop-down list box, as shown below: 
Note:   Anytime you move the mouse pointer over the Lenovo Wireless Projector 
system tray icon, the information for the selected WLAN adapter will 
appear.

In the Setting tab, the current binding setting will be shown. 
   
 
When Projector binding is checked, the projector binding function is enabled. 
The ID of the bound projector will appear in the box below Projector binding, as 
shown above. 
After unchecking Projector binding, Bind Projector in the right-click menu will be 
gray, and you cannot bind any projector. 
To prevent the quick projecting confirmation window from appearing, check Don’t 
show the quick projecting dialog, in the Setting tab.

Buttons of the remote emulation controller 
   
 
Listed below are the remote emulation controller buttons and functions:

 Menu: Open the projector OSD menu or go back to the previous menu level. 
Note: 
 The OSD menu will only display on the projector screen. For more 
information go to “Navigating the OSD” on page 7-1.

 Back: Back to previous menu level.

 Close: Click this button and there will be a confirmation message. Click Ye s to 
turn the projector off.

Right-click the Lenovo Wireless Projector icon in the system tray and select USB 
image display to start this function. 
Note:   Yo u may also start USB image display with the projector OSD menu.

Ending projection 
Yo u can use any of the following procedures to end the current wireless projection 
session:

 Right-click Lenovo Wireless Projector system tray icon to select End Project.

To control your computer mouse using the projector remote control, connect the 
projector to the computer with a USB cable as shown below: 
   
 
Note:   USB mouse function is only supported with Microsoft® Windows®2000 and 
Windows XP. 
Connecting to a computer monitor 
If you want to see the image on a separate monitor as well as on the projection 
screen, plug the monitor cable to the monitor out connector on the projector.

Chapter 5. Maintenance 
This chapter provides information on projector maintenance. 
Cleaning the projector 
Cleaning the projector to remove dust and grime will help ensure trouble-free 
operation.

 Be sure to turn off and unplug the projector at least 1 hour before cleaning. 
Failure to do so could result in a severe burn.

 Use only a dampened cloth when cleaning. Do not allow water to enter the 
ventilation openings on the projector.
