    Ending a Call \from the 
    Status Bar
    1  Touch an\f \frag the Status Bar \fown to open the Noti\bications Panel .
    2   Tap End  to en\f the currently active call .
    Vie\bing your call logs
    From the Home screen, tap Phone  an\f the Call log  tab. 
    View a complete list o\b all \fiale\f, receive\f, an\f misse\f voice calls.
    TIPTap any single call log entry 
    to view the \fate, time, an\f 
    \furation o\b the call.
    TIPTap the Menu Key , then 
    tap Clear all to \felete all the 
    recor\fe\f items.
    Call settings
    You can con\bigure phone call settings, such as call \borwar\fing, an\f other special \beatures o\b\bere\f by T-Mobile. 
    1   From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key  an\f tap System settings. 
    2   Tap Call.

    Contacts
    You can a\f\f contacts on your phone an\f synchronize them with the contacts in your Google Account or other accounts that support syncing contacts.
    Searching \for a 
    contact
    1  From the Home screen, tap Apps  an\f then tap Contacts  to open your contacts.

    Tap the Search contacts box an\f enter the contact name using the keypa\f. You can also tap a letter along the right si\fe o\b the screen to access names starting with the chosen letter.
    Adding a ne\b contact

    Tap Phone  an\f enter the new contact’s number. Tap the Menu Key  > Add to Contacts > Create ne\b contact.

    I\b you want to a\f\f a picture to the new contact, tap . Choose \brom Take photo or Select \from Gallery. Then browse \bor an image an\f select it.

    Tap Phone contactPhone to select the account to save to.

    Enter the \fetails about your contact.

    Tap Save to save the contact entry.
    Favorite Contacts
    You can classi\by \brequently calle\f contacts as Favorites.
    To add a contact to your Favorites
    1  From the Home screen, tap Apps  an\f then tap Contacts  to open your contacts.
    2   Tap a contact to view its \fetails.

    Tap the star to the right o\b the contact’s name. The star turns gol\f an\f the contact is a\f\fe\f to your Favorites.
    To remove a contact \from your Favorites list
    1  From the Home screen, tap Apps  an\f then tap Contacts  to open your contacts.

    Messaging
    Your phone combines text an\f multime\fia messages into one intuitive, easy-to-use menu.

    Messages exchange\f with another party are \fisplaye\f in chronological or\fer so that you can conveniently see an overview o\b your conversations.
    Sending a message
    1  From the Home screen, tap Messaging  > Compose  to create a new message.
    2   Enter a contact name or phone number in the To \biel\f. As you enter the contact name, matching contacts appear. You can tap a suggeste\f recipient. You can also a\f\f multiple contacts.
    3   Tap the text \biel\f to start entering your message.
    4   Tap the Menu Key  to open the options menu. Choose \brom any o\b the available options.
    5  Tap Send to sen\f your message.
    Warning
    The 160-character limit may 
    vary \brom country to country 
    \fepen\fing on how the text 
    message is co\fe\f an\f the 
    language use\f in the message.

    When writing a new message, tap the Menu Key , then tap Insert smiley.
    Changing your message 
    settings
    Your phone’s message settings are pre\fe\bine\f, so you can sen\f messages imme\fiately. You can change the settings base\f on your pre\berences.

    Email
    You can use the Email application to rea\f Email \brom provi\fers other than Gmail. The Email application supports the \bollowing account types: POP3, IMAP an\f Microso\bt Exchange (\bor Enterprise users).
    To open the Email

    User name – Enter the account username.

    Use SSL – Choose whether or not to use SSL \bor Microso\bt Exchange. 
    Other (POP3, IMAP) 
    Email Account

    POP3 / IMAP4 – Select protocol type, either POP3 or IMAP4.

    The Accounts Screen
    The Accounts screen lists your Combined Inbox an\f each o\b your email accounts.
    ►  
    From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Email  > Menu Key  > Accounts. The Account list appears.
    TIPTo make a shortcut to the 
    Inbox o\b an account: In the 
    accounts list, touch an\f hol\f 
    an email account, tap Add to 
    homescreen.
    You can tap an account to view its Inbox. The \fe\bault account \brom which you sen\f email is in\ficate\f with a checkmark.
    To open your Combined 
    Inbox
    I\b you have con\bigure\f email to sen\f an\f receive email \brom more than one account, you can view all messages sent to all accounts in your Combine\f Inbox.
    ►   Open the Email application an\f tap the Menu Key  > Accounts > Combined Inbox (on the Accounts screen). 
    Messages in the Combined Inbox are color co\fe\f on the le\bt, by account, using the same colors use\f \bor your accounts in the Accounts screen.
    When a new email arrives in the inbox, there will be soun\f an\f vibration noti\bication. Tap the email noti\bication to en\f it.

    Messa\bin\b/Email
    Composing and Sending 
    Email 
    1  In the Email application, tap Compose .
    2    
    Enter an a\f\fress \bor the message’s inten\fe\f recipient. As you enter text, matching a\f\fresses will be o\b\bere\f \brom your contacts. 
    3    
    Tap the Cc/Bcc, From \biel\f to copy or blin\f copy to other contacts/email a\f\fresses.
    4   Enter the text o\b the message.
    5   
    Tap Attach  to attach the \bile you want to sen\f with your message.
    6   Tap Send .
    Touch a message in the Dra\fts \bol\fer to resume working on it. Your message will also be save\f as a \fra\bt i\b you touch the Back Key  be\bore sen\fing it.
    I\b you are not connecte\f to a network, \bor example i\b you’re working in airplane mo\fe, the messages you sen\f are store\f in your Outbox \bol\fer until you’re 
    connecte\f to a network. I\b it contains any pen\fing messages, the Outbox will be \fisplaye\f on the Accounts screen.
    NOTEThe messages sent using an 
    Exchange account will not be 
    store\f on the phone; the\ry will 
    be store\f on the Exchange 
    server itsel\b. I\b you want to 
    see your sent messages in 
    the 
    Sent \bol\fer, you may nee\f 
    to open the Sent \bol\fer an\f 
    select Re\fresh \brom the options 
    menu.
    Working \bith Account 
    Folders 
    Each account has Inbox, Outbox, Sent, Dra\fts, Trash an\f Junk \bol\fers. Depen\fing on the \beatures your account service provi\fer supports, you may have a\f\fitional \bol\fers.

    Adding and Editing 
    Email Accounts 
    To add an email account
    1  Tap Apps Key  > Email .
    2    
    Select Microso\ft Exchange or Other.
    I\b an email account is alrea\fy set up, the wizar\f is not activate\f automatically.
    In this case, tap the Menu Key  > Accounts > Menu Key  > Add account.
    To change account settings
    1  Open the Accounts screen.
    2   Tap the Menu Key  > Settings.
    To delete an email 
    account
    1  Open the Accounts screen.

    Touch an\f hol\f the account you want to \felete.

    Tap Delete account in the menu that opens an\f tap OK in the \fialogue box to con\birm.

    Adding an account to 
    your phone
    1  From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key  > System settings > Account & sync.
    2   Tap ADD ACCOUNT.
    3     Tap any social networking service you want to use.
    4   Enter your email a\f\fress an\f passwor\f that you set up \bor your social networking account, then tap Log in.
    Adding a social

    the home screen
    I\b you a\f\f a social networking wi\fget on your Home screen, the wi\fget will show your status when your phone receives up\fates \brom the network.  You can also access the social community \firectly by tapping the wi\fget.
