The settings for the transition and key patterns are performed on these screens. The items that can be set differ from one
pattern to another. The LCD display changes as soon as one of the patterns is selected. The key slice, slope, key level,
crop, edge, effects and DVEPlus settings are stored in the memory for each effect group. If the system was started using
Reset, the default settings are established. Furthermore, the 3D modify settings are stored for each pattern group.
    [Transition] wipe pattern settings
The transition wipe patterns (numbers 1 to 2999) are opened directly or when selected using the number keys.

    When transition numbers 200 to 222 (1001 to 1004, 1021 to 1023, 1030 to 1034 and 1059 to 1069) and 1981 to 1983 are
selected, the pattern is changed to MIX (56).
    [Modify] settings
The item to be changed in the pattern is selected from [Off],
[Comp] (compression), [Slide], [Multi] and [Blinds] using the

    [Pattern Edge] setting
This is used to set edges for the patterns. The border color
set here is used as the border matte for trail. It is updated
by the color which is read out for the direct pattern.
Select [Hard], [Soft], [Border] or [Soft Border] using the
rotary 2 control. The default setting is [Hard].
When [Soft] or [Soft Border] has been selected, No.2001 to
2195 and 6008 to 6010 patterns cannot be selected.
When [Soft Border] has been selected, the #701 to No.707
    (24 to 27), 801 to 814 (183 to 196) patterns cannot be
    selected.
The [Width] thickness can be set to any value from 1 to 255
using the rotary 3 control. The default setting is 32. Only 1
or 2 can be set for [Width] if any of the following patterns
    have been selected:
    ≥ No.701 to 707 (24 to 27), 801 to 814 (183 to 196)
Select the [Color] border color using the rotary 4 control.
[White], [Yellow], [Cyan], [Green], [Magenta], [Red], [Blue],
[Black], [Custom1] or [Custom2] can be selected. Custom1
and Custom2 are colors which have been set by INT Matte.

Set the trail color and spark using the rotary 3 control.
Select the [Self] original image, [Self-spark], [BodM]
border color or [BodM-spark] border spark.
The time can be set to any value from 1 to 32 using the
    rotary 4 control.
When trail has been set, the trail offset position can be set
by setting the position while holding down [Shift]. In this
case, the center, scene grabber and hold buttons flash
temporarily. Whichever trail or shadow effect was
selected last among trail and shadow for DSK, and multi
strobe and decay for A/B videoEffects takes effect, and
    the previous effect is canceled.

Only one of three settings—namely, soft, border or soft border—for both multi strobe and pattern edges can be selected
when a special pattern has been selected. For further details, refer to the note on page 26.
