•An item cannot be selected if the printer does not support the page layout.
∫Layout printing
When printing a picture several times on 1 sheet of paper
For example, if you want to print the same picture 4 times on 1 sheet of paper, set [Page 
Layout] to [ ä] and then set [Num.of prints] to 4 for the picture that you want to print.

Optional accessories
With the optional conversion lenses, you can record even more faraway pictures and take 
close-up pictures of smaller subjects.
Preparations: Remove the lens cap and lens hood.
1Attach the lens adaptor.
•Rotate the lens adaptor slowly and carefully.
2Attach the tele conversion lens.ALens adaptor (optional)

•Lens adaptor (optional) is needed to use the conversion lens.
•MC protector (DMW-LMC52: optional) or ND filters (DMW-LND52: optional) cannot be used together 
with the conversion lens. Remove them before attaching the conversion lens.
•Do not use with anything other than DMW-LC55 or DMW-LT55.
•When there is dirt (water, oil, and fingerprints, etc.) on the surface of the lens, the image may be 
affected. Lightly wipe the surface of the lens with a soft, dry cloth before and after...

After attaching the external flash (DMW-FL220, DMW-FL360, DMW-FL500: optional), the 
effective range will be increased when compared to the camera’s built in flash.
Preparations:
Turn off the camera and close the built-in flash.
∫Using the dedicated flash (DMW-FL220: optional)
1Attach the dedicated flash to the hot shoe and then turn on the camera and the 
dedicated flash.

Note
•You can set the aperture value, the shutter speed and the ISO sensitivity on the camera even when 
attaching the external flash.
•Some commercial external flashes have synchro terminals with high-voltage or reversed polarity. 
Using such extra flashes may cause a malfunction or the camera may not operate normally.
•If you use commercially available external flashes with communication functions other than the 
dedicated one, they may not operate normally or they may be damaged. Do not...

If you use the remote shutter (DMW-RSL1: optional), you can avoid jitter (camera shake) when 
using a tripod and you can keep the shutter pressed fully when taking pictures with Burst Mode. 
The remote shutter works similar to the shutter button on the camera.

•
Always use a genuine Panasonic remote shutter (DMW-RSL1: optional).•You cannot operate the camera with the remote shutter in the following cases.
–When the Sleep Mode is canceled–When starting/ending the recording of motion...
