Applicable modes: 
By setting [Touch AF] (P60) in [Touch Settings] of the [Custom] menu to [AF+AE], you can 
optimize the focus and brightness for the position you have tou ched.

Turning on/not turning on the AF Assist Lamp
AF assist lamp will illuminate the subject when the shutter but ton is pressed halfway, 
making it easier for the camera to focus when recording in low  light conditions.

Recording/not recording even when focus is not achieved
[FOCUS]:
You cannot take a picture until t he subject is brought into focus.
[RELEASE]:
This gives priority to the best time to take a picture so you c an take a picture when the 
shutter button is pressed fully.

When set to [RELEASE], please be aware that focus may not be ac hieved even with focus 
mode set to [AFS], [AFF] or [AFC].

Use this function when you want to fix the focus or when the distance between the lens 
and the subject is determined and you do not want to activate A uto Focus.
