     SIRIUS Satellite Radio (SIR-PAN1)
    You can connect the optional SIRIUS Satellite Radio 
    Tuner (SIR-PAN1).
    SIRIUS satellite broadcast service
    SIRIUS satellite coverage is only available in the 
    United States (except Hawaii and Alaska) and a part of 
    Canada. 
      iPod®
    The optional adapter (Direct cable for iPod: 
    CA-DC300U, option) allows you to connect the 
    optional iPod series.
    The iPod equipped with a dock connector is 
    exclusively connectable. Further information about 
    the controllable iPod is described below.

    You can connect the optional expansion module 
    (hub unit) (CY-EM100U, option). Connection of the 
    expansion module allows you to simultaneously 
    connect optional devices mentioned before as well as 
    other AV devices. For details, refer to the operating 
    instructions for the expansion module.

    You can connect the optional Panasonic TV tuner 
    unit (CY-TUN153U, option). For details, refer to the

    Note:
       CY-TUN153U is an analog TV-speci c tuner.   If the analog broadcast system is replaced with the 
    digital broadcast system in a country or area where 
    CY-TUN153U is used, TV broadcasts cannot be 
    received.
       Inquire about the termination of analog 
    broadcasting to the authorities concerned in the 
    country or area where CY-TUN153U is used.
      XM Satellite Radio (XMD1000)
    You can connect the optional XM Satellite Radio 
    Tuner (XMD1000) with optional Digital Adapter Cable 
    (XMDPAN110). For details, refer to the operating 
    instructions for the XM Satellite Radio Tuner.

    What is SIRIUS Satellite Radio?
    Over 120 channels of the best entertainment

    Getting started
    You must sign up to become a SIRIUS Satellite Radio 
    subscriber. After checking your SIRIUS Satellite Radio 
    ID, sign up on the SIRIUS’s website or call them.
    1Select [Setup] on the SIRIUS 
    operation screen.
       The SIRIUS Setup screen is displayed.
    2Check SIRIUS Satellite Radio ID.
       The SIRIUS Satellite Radio ID can also be 
    displayed by selecting channel 0 on the SIRIUS 
    operation screen.
       (Refer to “Select a channel” on page 5.)
    3Activate the SIRIUS Satellite Radio. 
    Select either of the following to sign up.

    Preparation:   Connect the optional SIRIUS Satellite Radio Tuner 
    (SIR-PAN1).
    Switch to SIRIUS Satellite Radio

    wish to store the channel for at least 
    2 seconds.
       The channel being received is stored under the 
    selected number.
    Note:
       6 channels can be stored for each channel list (SR1, 
    SR2, and SR3). (18 channels in total)
       Select [Band] to switch between channel lists.
       The channel list switches as shown below each time 
    [Band] is selected.
      Select a stored channel
    Select a channel (number) from the 
    preset channels.
       The channel switches to the selected channel.

    Parental lock
    Restricts the channels that can be received.
    1Select [Setup] from “Parental Lock” 
    on the SIRIUS Setup screen.
    2Enter the 4-digit passcode and select 
    [Enter].
     default: 0000
       The Parental lock setup screen is displayed.   Select [Ret] to delete the entered numbers.   Once a code number is entered, the code 
    number will be required the next time the item 
    is used, and thereafter. Do not forget the code 
    number. If you forget your code number, touch 
    [Ret] 10 times to initialize the setting.
    3Make settings.
      Parental  lock
       [On]:   Enables the parental lock.
        [Off]:   Disables the parental lock.
      To set the lock channel
      Select [Set] from “Lock Channel”. ( page 7)
      To change the passcode
      Select [Set] from “Passcode”. ( page 7)
      To set the lock channel
    Set the channels to be protected by Parental lock.
    Select [Lock]/[Unlock] for each channel.
       When [Lock] is selected, the channel is locked.   Locked channels are skipped at channel 
    selection. (
     page 5)   The passcode entry screen is displayed when a 
    locked channel number is entered at the direct 
    channel selection. (
     page 5)
       Enter the passcode to switch to the selected 
    channel.
      When [Unlock] is selected, the channel is unlocked.   :   Moves the cursor to the previous/next screen.
       :   Moves the cursor to the previous/next 
    item.
      To change the passcode
    1Enter the current 4-digit passcode 
    and select [Enter].
    2Enter the new 4-digit passcode and 
    select [Enter].
    3Enter the new 4-digit passcode again 
    and select [Enter].
       The passcode is updated to the new entry.

    Preset memory
    The channel being received can be stored manually 
    under a selected number. 
    Select the channel, then touch and 
    hold the number under which you 
    wish to store the channel for at least 
    2 seconds.
       The channel being received is stored under the 
    selected number.
    Note:
       6 channels can be stored for each channel list (XM1, 
    XM2, and XM3). (18 channels in total)
       Select [Band] to switch between channel lists.
       The channel list switches as shown below each time 
    [Band] is selected.
      Select a stored channel
    Select a channel (number) from the 
    preset channels.
       The channel switches to the selected channel.
    XM1 XM2 XM3XM1 XM2 XM3
    Traffi c information
    Stores only one traffi c channel, either SIRIUS Satellite 
    Radio or XM Satellite Radio, so it can be called easily 
    from any Audiovisual source operation screen.
    Select the channel, then touch and 
    hold [Traffi c] for 2 seconds or longer.
    (Example: SIRIUS operation screen)
       The channel being received is stored.
      Select a stored channel
    Select [Traffi c].
    (Example: SIRIUS operation screen)
    Note:
       This function cannot be used if neither SIRIUS 
    Satellite Radio nor XM Satellite Radio is connected.
       Channels which are parental locked cannot be stored.
