    							XM Satellite Radio control (continued)
    Select a category
      To turn the category selection on
    1Select [Setup].
       The XM Setup screen is displayed.
    2Select [On] from “Category”.
       Select [Off] to turn the category selection off.
      To select a category

       The category switches.
    Note:
       It is not possible to select a category if “Category” is 
    set to [Off].
    Preset memory
    The channel being received can be stored manually 
    under a selected number. 
    Select the channel, then touch and 
    hold the number under which you 
    wish to store the channel for at least 
    2 seconds.
       The channel being received is stored under the 
    selected number.
    Note:
       6 channels can be stored for each channel list (XM1, 
    XM2, and XM3). (18 channels in total)
       Select [Band] to switch between channel lists.
       The channel list switches as shown below each time 
    [Band] is selected.
      Select a stored channel
    Select a channel (number) from the 
    preset channels.
       The channel switches to the selected channel.
    XM1 XM2 XM3XM1 XM2 XM3
    Traffi c information
    Stores only one traffi c channel, either SIRIUS Satellite 
    Radio or XM Satellite Radio, so it can be called easily 
    from any Audiovisual source operation screen.
    Select the channel, then touch and 
    hold [Traffi c] for 2 seconds or longer.
    (Example: SIRIUS operation screen)
       The channel being received is stored.
      Select a stored channel
    Select [Traffi c].
    (Example: SIRIUS operation screen)
    Note:
       This function cannot be used if neither SIRIUS 
    Satellite Radio nor XM Satellite Radio is connected.
       Channels which are parental locked cannot be stored.

    Note:

       Use a holder or other means to ensure the iPod does 
    not move while the vehicle is in motion.
       Do not leave the iPod for long periods of time where 
    the inside of the vehicle will get hot.
       Also refer to the installation manual for the iPod to be 
    connected.
       After turning the engine off (switching from ACC to 
    OFF), always disconnect the iPod. If the iPod is left 
    connected, its power may not turn off, causing its 
    battery to run down.
       Please note that no compensation will be provided for 
    data lost from the iPod while it is used connected to 
    the main unit.
       The iPod is licensed for duplication and playback 
    of material that is uncopyrighted, or may legally 
    be duplicated or played for individual private use. 
    Infringement of copyright is prohibited by law.
       Do not connect iPod accessories such as a remote 
    control unit or headphones while the iPod is 
    connected to the main unit. They may not function 
    normally in some cases.
       The iPod can only play music data.   The iPod Shuf e is not compatible.
    Switch to iPod
    Select [iPod] on the Audiovisual 
    source operation screen.

       The iPod operation screen is displayed.   Plays the track.
    Note:
       “Communication error” appears until the iPod is 
    recognized after connecting the iPod, turning on the 
    power of the main unit, or performing source selection 
    on the main unit. This indicates there is nothing wrong 
    with the main unit.
       We do not guarantee operation of all the functions of 
    the iPod to be connected.
       Only iPods equipped with a dock connector can be 
    connected.

    							Using with a rear monitor
    Audiovisual function images from the main unit are 
    displayed on the rear monitor. When 
     is pressed 
    while the Audiovisual screen displays, the navigation 
    screen displays on the main unit while the selected 
    image is output to the rear monitor. 
    [DVD, AV only]
    Display the Audiovisual screen on the 
    rear monitor
    Example:  The Audiovisual screen is displayed on the 
    rear monitor while the navigation screen is 
    displayed.
    Repeat play
    Select .
    Illuminates 
    when On.
       The track being played is played repeatedly.   1 track indicator illuminates.  Select  again to cancel repeat play.
    Track list
    All tracks to be played are listed.
    Select [Track List].
       The track being played is displayed in bold.   Select a track to play that track.   :   Moves the cursor to the previous/next 
    screen.
     
      :   Moves the cursor to the previous/next 
    item.
    Select a track from the list

       The iPod Music Menu screen is displayed.

    Preparation:   Connect a TV tuner (CY-TUN153U, option) to the 
    unit.
       You must install the TV antenna to receive TV 
    broadcasts.
       To receive TV broadcasts, park your car in an 
    area free from any obstacles that would impede 
    reception.
    Switch to TV
    Select [AV] on the Audiovisual 
    source operation screen. 
    (Operating Instructions)
       TV (AV) operation screen is displayed.
       When [PICTURE] is selected, the image is 
    displayed.
       Refer to the Operating Instructions for operation 
    of [Sound] and [ASPECT].
    AV menu
    Touch the screen while video is displayed to display the 
    AV menu.
       Refer to the Operating Instructions for [Display] 
    operations.
      Select [Hide Buttons] to close the AV menu.
    Note:
       For TV operation, use the remote control unit provided 
    with the TV tuner (CY-TUN153U, option), pointing it 
    towards the remote control signal sensor of the main 
    unit.
       Refer to the TV tuner instruction manual for details of 
    its operation.
    Rear monitor
    Preparation:   Connect a rear monitor to the unit.

    Connection of the optional Bluetooth hands-free kit allows 
    users to talk on a handsfree cellular phone in the car.
    Note:   The Bluetooth word mark and logo are owned by 
    the Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks 
    by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. is under 
    license. Other trademarks and trade name are those of 
    their respective owners.
    Switch to Bluetooth hands-free
    This mode is not selectable by pressing  or 
    touching an item on the panel, but activated by receiving 
    an incoming call. (To pick up the phone, press [Hang-on] 
    on the hands-free kit.)
    Note:
       We do not guarantee use of all the functions of the 
    Bluetooth-ready mobile phone to be connected.

    Note:   If the cellular phone does not have the no in-band 
    ringing speci cation, it is not possible to set to ring or 
    not ring. (Touch keys are not displayed either.)
    Switch to the rear view camera screen
    Move the vehicle shift lever to reverse.
       The rear view camera image is displayed.  Press ,  or  to cancel the rear 
    view camera display.
      To display manually
    Consult the dealer regarding the camera and its 
    installation.
    Select [Rear View] from the 
    Information menu.

      Move to an area where SIRIUS broadcasts can be received well.
    Call 888-539-SIRIUS
    User’s registration has not been carried out.
      Complete user’s registration.
    A channel that is not included in the agreement was selected.
      Select a channel that is included in the agreement. Refer to the operating 
    instructions for SIRIUS Satellite Radio Tuner with regard to the agreement.
    SUB UPDATED
    The subscription information was updated.
      Wait for 3 minutes in the SIRIUS mode.
    Your location is out of the reception area (for example, in a tunnel), or the unit is 
    decoding a selected broadcast. The display appears also while the connections are 
    being checked after the power has been turned on.
      Wait until getting out of the unreceivable area or completing the decoding.
      iPod control

      Connect the SIRIUS antenna.
    ACQUIRING SIGNALSIRIUS broadcasts unreceivable because of poor receiving conditions.
      Move to an area where SIRIUS broadcasts can be received well.
    Call 888-539-SIRIUS
    User’s registration has not been carried out.
      Complete user’s registration.
    A channel that is not included in the agreement was selected.
      Select a channel that is included in the agreement. Refer to the operating 
    instructions for SIRIUS Satellite Radio Tuner with regard to the agreement.
    SUB UPDATED
    The subscription information was updated.
      Wait for 3 minutes in the SIRIUS mode.
    Your location is out of the reception area (for example, in a tunnel), or the unit is 
    decoding a selected broadcast. The display appears also while the connections are 
    being checked after the power has been turned on.
      Wait until getting out of the unreceivable area or completing the decoding.
