Setting up the base 
unit
Connecting the AC adaptor 
and telephone line cord
Connect the telephone line cord until it 
clicks into the base unit and telephone 
line jack (A). Connect the AC adaptor 
cord ( B) by pressing the plug firmly 
( C ).
L Use only the included Panasonic AC 
adaptor PQLV219.
Note:
L The AC adaptor must remain 
connected at all times. (It is normal for 
the adaptor to feel warm during use.)

Battery installation/
replacement

Press the notch of the handset cover 
firmly, and slide it in the direction of 
the arrow. 
LWhen replacing batteries, remove 
the old batteries positive ( S) end 
first.
2Insert the batteries negative ( T) end 
first. Close the handset cover.
Important:
L USE ONLY Ni-MH batteries AAA 
(R03) size.
