    Settings
    Network settings of computer
    Configure the network settings (wired LAN) of the computer.
    1) Turn on the power of your computer.
    2) 
    Follow the network administrator
     ’s instructions to configure the network settings.
    ▶zIf the projector is in the default settings ( page 78), make the following network settings on your computer.
    IP address
    192.168.10.100
    Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway 192.168.10.1
    Accessing from the Web browser
    1) Start up the Web browser on the computer.
    2)  
    Enter the IP
      address set on the projector into the URL entry field of the Web browser.
    3)
     
    Enter the user name and the password.
    ▶z The factory default setting of the user name is user1 (user rights)/admin1 (administrator rights) and the 
    password is panasonic (lower case).
    4) Click OK.
    ▶zThe [Projector status] page is displayed.

    The user rights allows to display only the following buttons 
    on the screen and use those functions: [Projector status] (
     page 83), [Network status] ( page 85), [Basic

     page 85), [Advanced control] ( page 86), and [Change password] ( page 93).
     z Access will be locked for few minutes when an incorrect password is entered three times consecutively

    (6) [NETWORK VERSION] Displays the firmware version of the network.

    (9) [INPUT] Displays the selected video input.
    (10) [INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE] Displays the status of the intake air temperature of 
    the projector.

    the projector.
    (12) [LAMP RUNTIME] Displays the lamp usage time (converted value).
    (13) [SELF TEST] Displays the self-diagnosis information.

    When [Error (Detail)] is displayed on the [Projector status] screen, click it to display the error details.

    Description
    [MAIN CPU BUS] There is a problem with the microcomputer circuitry. Consult your 
    dealer.
    [FAN] There is a problem with the fan or the fan drive circuit. Consult your 
    dealer.
    [INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE] The intake air temperature is too high. It may be used in an operating 
    environment where the temperature is high, such as near a heating 
    appliance, the intake port may be blocked, or the air filter may be 
    clogged.
    [EXHAUST AIR TEMPERATURE] The exhaust air temperature is too high. The air exhaust port may be 
    blocked, or the mode setting for using the projector at high elevations 
    may be wrong.
    [LAMP REMAIN TIME] The lamp usage time has exceeded the specified time, and it is time 
    to replace the lamp.
    [LAMP STATUS] The lamp has failed to turn on. Wait a while until the luminous lamp 
    cools off, and then turn on the power.
    [APERTURE(CONTRAST-SHUTTER)] There is a problem with the contrast shutter circuitry. Consult your 
    dealer.
    [INTAKE AIR TEMP.SENSOR] There is a problem with the sensor used to detect intake air 
    temperature. Consult your dealer.
    [EXHAUST AIR TEMP.SENSOR] There is a problem with the sensor used to detect exhaust air 
    temperature. Consult your dealer.
    [BATTERY] The battery replacement is required. Consult your dealer.
    [AIR FILTER] There is too much dust accumulated in the air filter unit.
    Turn the  switch to  (
     page 38), and clean 
    the air filter (
     page 99).

    (1) [DHCP ON]/[DHCP OFF]
    To enable the DHCP client function, set to [DHCP ON].
    (2) [IP ADDRESS] Enter the IP address when not using a DHCP server.
    (3) [SUBNET MASK] Enter the subnet mask when not using a DHCP server.
    (4) [DEFAULT GATEWAY] Enter the gateway address when not using a DHCP server.
    (5) [DNS1] Allowed characters for the entry of DNS 1 server address 
    (primary):
    Numbers (0 to 9), period (.)
    (Example: 192.168.0.253)
    (6) [DNS2] Allowed characters for the entry of DNS 2 server address 
    (secondary):

    (Example: 192.168.0.254)
    (7) [Back]/[Next] Click the [Back] button to return to the original screen. The 
    current settings are displayed by pressing the [Next] button. 
    Click the [Submit] button to update the settings.

     zWhen you use the “Back” and “Forward” functions of your browser
    
    , a warning message “Page has Expired” 
    may appear. In that case, click [Network config] again since the following operation will not be guaranteed.

    Selects the time zone. (Factory default: GMT +09:00)
    (2) [Set time zone] Updates the time zone setting.
    (3) [NTP SYNCHRONIZATION] Set to [ON] to adjust the date and time automatically.
    (4) [NTP SERVER NAME] Enter the IP address or server name of the NTP server 
    when you set to adjust the date and time manually.
    (To enter the server name, the setup of the DNS server is 
    required.)
    (5) [Date] Enter the date to be changed.
    (6) [Time] Enter the time to be changed.
    (7) [Set date and time] Updates the date and time settings.
    Note
     zThe replacement of the battery inside the projector is required when the time goes out of alignment right after 
    correcting the time. Consult your dealer

    ▶■[E-mail set up] page
    An E-mail message can be sent to the E-mail address setup in advance (up to two addresses) when the 
    problem occurred or the lamp usage time reached the specified value.
    Click [Detailed set up] 
    → [E-mail set up].

    Select [ENABLE] when using the E-mail function.
    (2) [SMTP SERVER NAME] Enter the IP address or the server name of the E-mail 
    server (SMTP). To enter the server name, the setup of the 
    DNS server is required.
    (3) [MAIL FROM] Enter the E-mail address of the projector. (Up to 63 
    characters in single byte)
    (4) [MEMO] You can enter information such as the location of the 
    projector that notifies the sender of the E-mail. (Up to 63 
    characters in single byte)
    (5) [MINIMUM TIME] Change the minimum intervals for the temperature warning 
    mail. The default value is 60 minutes. In this case, another 
    E-mail will not be sent for 60 minutes after sending the 
    temperature warning mail even if it reaches the warning 
    temperature.
    (6) [INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE] Change the temperature setting for the temperature 
    warning mail. A temperature warning mail is sent when the 
    temperature exceeds this value.

    (2) Settings of the conditions to send E-mail Select the conditions to send E-mail.
    [MAIL CONTENTS]:  Select either [NORMAL] or [SIMPLE].

    the self-diagnosis.
    [LAMP RUNTIME]:  An E-mail message is sent when the remaining lamp 
    usage time has reached the value set at the right field.
    [INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE]:  An E-mail message is sent when the intake air 
    temperature has reached the value set at the above 
    field.
    [PERIODIC REPORT]:  Place a check mark on this when E-mail is to be sent 
    periodically.
