When set to [NORMAL], network functions are available during standby. f If set to [ECO], there may be a delay in displaying when the power is tu\ rned on compared to when set to [NORMAL]. [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL] The projector has a built-in brightness sensor which measures the bright\ ness of the light source and has a function which corrects the brightness of the screen according to the change in the brightness of th\ e light source. The light source deteriorates over time. By using this function, you can\ reduce the change in overall brightness or keep it uniform by suppressing the variation in brightness when displaying multiple screens\ using multiple projectors. Note f When using only one projector , the value obtained by subtracting the value of the [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL\ GAIN] from 100 % is the maximum amount of brightness correction. Brightness cannot be corrected \ through brightness control since the maximum amount of correction becomes 0 % when [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] is at 100 %. fBrightness is not stable for 15 minutes after the light source lights up\ . Make adjustments at least 15 minutes after starting projection. fThe result of [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] adjustments is reflected on all image signals, internal test patterns, and on-screen menus. fThe [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL GAIN] setting is enabled even if [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL SETUP] is [OFF]. LINK GROUP A Note fWhen [MODE] in [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL SETUP] is running with [AUTO] or [PC], the light source brightness is automatically measured 15 minutes after the light source lights up, and correction is \ performed so that the screen brightness will be the same as the standard brightness when the brightness control is adjusted. Brightness \ is not measured since the light source brightness is not stable for approximately 15 minutes after the light source lights up. f When [MODE] of [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL SETUP] is running in [AUTO] and [LINK] is [OFF], the brightness will be corrected until it reaches the maximum amount of correction. f The variation in brightness may increase due to dust accumulating on the\ lens, screen, or inside the projector , depending on the installation environment of the projector. f When the variation in brightness has increased due to the deterioration \ of the light source over time, or when you replaced the light source unit, readjust the brightness control. fWhen the projector is used continuously for more than 24 hours, set the \ [CALIBRA TION TIME] in [BRIGHTNESS CONTROL SETUP]. If it is not set, correction will not be performed automatically. f The brightness control and the ECO management operate simultaneously . However , [LIGHT POWER] in [ECO MANAGEMENT] is fixed to [NORMAL] while the brightness is measured. Also, [AUTO POWER SAVE] is fixed to [OFF]. f The set changes in the [CALIBRA TION TIME] will be reflected during the time you entered. fThe set changes in the [CALIBRA TION MESSAGE] will be reflected at the time items are switched using qw.
