    Getting Started
Step 1: Installing the SystemFor the best possible sound, place all speakers at the same distance from the listening position (A).
Place the system as illustrated below.Note Use caution when placing the speakers and/or speaker stands attached to the speakers on a specially treated (waxed,
oiled, polished, etc.) floor, as staining or discoloration may result.
Do not lean or hang on a speaker, as it may fall down.
Image distortion on the TV screen may occur depending on the location of the subwoofer. In this case, place the
    subwoofer away from the TV.
Do not block the ventilation slots of the control unit and the subwoofer.
Place both front speakers the same distance apart as they are from the listening position (to form an isosceles
    triangle).
The front speakers should be placed at least 0.6 m apart.
Place the front speakers forward of the TV. Make sure there are no reflecting obstacles in front of the speakers. To place the front speakersAn adjustable support is stored inside the bottom of the speaker.
Turn the adjustable support 90° or 180° when placing the speaker to prevent it from falling down.Getting StartedPositioning the speakers

    Getting Started
Select the angle according to your preference.Note Both front speakers should be pointed straight forward. Do not place the speakers at an angle.Note on handling the subwooferDo not place your hand into the slit of the subwoofer when lifting it. The speaker driver may be
damaged. When lifting, hold the bottom of the subwoofer.Tip It is recommended to place the subwoofer on a hard floor.
You can also place the subwoofer either side, facing the listening position.Caution Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be used.
Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board wall is especially fragile, attach
the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to the wall. Install the speakers on a vertical and flat wall where
    reinforcement is applied.
Sony is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by improper installation, insufficient wall strength or
improper screw installation, natural calamity, etc.If you install the speakers on the wall

To avoid short-circuiting the speakersShort-circuiting of the speakers may damage the system. To prevent this, be sure to follow these
precautions when connecting the speakers. Make sure the bare wire of each speaker cord does not touch
another speaker terminal or the bare wire of another speaker cord, such as shown below.Note Be sure to match the speaker cord to the appropriate terminal on the components: 3 to 3, and # to #. If the cords
are reversed, the sound will lack bass and may be distorted. This connection sends a video signal to the TV.
Depending on the jacks on your TV, select the connection method.Method 1: Video cord (A) connectionThis is the basic connection.Connecting the TV (Video connection)
    Stripped speaker cord is
    touching another speaker
