intact the remahhg data fields that do not
require change. Those data fields will continue

DISA A line can be assigned as a DISA line
during night servfce only or on a 24 hour basis.
A maximum of three DISA lines can be pro-

can also be programmed. Incoming DISA call-
ers may dial any valid internal station or access
outside line groups. DISA ca.lIers will be sub-
jected to the Class of Service placed on the line
accessed for outdiahng. It is recommended that
Loop Supervision be enabled when setting up
DISA line(s). The Conference Timer (see Sec.
710.7) also allows the system admfnistrator to
control the length of time a DISA caller is
    allowed after establishing a 12un.k-to-Trunk
call. After expiration of the Conference Timer,
a tone will be presented to both DISA parties,

This section describes the steps and proce-
dures necessary to program station attributes
for stations connected to the 4096 hybrid key
telephone system. When entering the Station
attributes portion of the data base the pro-
grammer may decide to enter informauon for
either a range of stations or one specific sta-
    tion.
Kange programming allows the programmer to
change a specific parameter or a few parame-
ters for an entire range of stations leaving
intact the remaining data fields that do not
require change. Those data fields will contfnue
to operate. with the previously programmed
data For example if’ station data varies from
station to station i.e. button data is different or
    Class-of-servfce assignments are dmerent
etc... but it is desired to enable Preferred Line
Answer CPLAJ for all stations the programmer
may enter as the range AI& stations (loo- 195)
and enable PM, then exit programming. This
will enable PL4 for all stations leaving intact
the various other station programming for the
    range.
Station Attributes are divided between those
features that require either a simple al-
    low/deny or Enable/Disable (toggle) operation
and those that require a numeric entry. The
allow/deny (toggle) type features are pro-
