    Standby Heating Menu
    Allows you to set up the length of time to preheat the heater while the printer is in standby mode.
    1. Follow the procedure below to make changes to the StandbyHeating settings: 
    a. With "Ready to Print" displayed, press the [Menu] key. "Setup >" displays in the control panel.
    b. Press the [>] key. "Media Type" displays in the control panel.
    c. Press the [Enter] key. "Type *" displays in the control panel (where * is the currently-selected Media Type).

    • The minimum setting is 10 minutes and the maximum setting is 240 minutes.

    Control Panel During Printing
    This section explains various functions that can be performed from the control panel.
    Note:
    •For names and functions of each key, refer to Printer Control Panel.
    Feeding Media
    You can feed roll media to the position that you want.
    Note:
    •Follow the procedure below to feed media.
    1. Confirm that "Ready to Print" is displayed in the control panel.
    2. Check that the media loading lever is lowered.
    3. Press and hold the [Forward↓] key or the [Backward↑] key.
    • Media is fed forward or backward.
    4. Release the [Backward↑] key or [Forward↓] key after feeding media to the desired position.

    Stopping Printing Operation
    If you want to stop printing for any reason, do the following.
    1. Stop sending printing data from the computer to the printer.
    2. Press the [Cancel] key.
    • Pressing [Cancel] causes the printer to do the following.
    Note:
    •If a large amount of data is saved on the printer, the control panel may not display 
    "Ready to Print" by pressing the [Cancel] key once. In such cases, wait for a few seconds 
    and press the [Cancel] key again.

    During printingTerminates printing and deletes the remaining data in the printer.
    Receiving/convertingDeletes the received/analyzed data and the subsequent file of data.

    Changing and Confirming Set Values While Printing
    While the printer is operating, you can change or confirm settings for the Panel setup menu. 
    Procedure for changing and confirming settings while printing
    Follow the procedure below to change or confirm settings for the Panel setup menu. 
    1. Confirm that the printer is in one of the following conditions.
    •Receiving
    •Converting
    •Printing
    •Warming up
    2. Press the [Menu] key. "Menu 1: Print Start" displays in the control panel.
    3. Press the [+] key or [–] key to change or confirm settings.
    Note:
    •For the setting items whose set values can be changed or confirmed, refer to Settings 
    that can be changed or confirmed while printing.

    Notes:
    •The Print start menu is displayed only when the printer is warming up.
    •When you change a setting during operation, be sure to select "Backup" to save
     the 
    setting that you changed.
    •If the printer returns to "Ready to Print" mode without "Backup" being selected, the 
    changed setting is not
     saved.

    Pausing printing
    It is possible to pause the printer during printing. Follow the procedure below to pause or restart 
    printing.
    Note:
    •If you pause the printing, the print quality will not be guaranteed.
    1. While the printer is printing, press the [–] key.
    • The printer pauses its printing.
    • "PrintRestart -> ENTER" displays in the control panel.
    2. To restart printing, press the [Enter] key.
    • The printer resumes its printing.
