You can use the unit’s remote control to operate external devices (such as CD players) if you have registered the remote 
control code of the external device.
• You cannot control an external device that  does not have a remote control sensor.
• Ensure that the remote control ID of the ex ternal device is set to “ID1”. If any other ID is selected, the remote control oper ations may 
not work properly.

You can use the unit’s remote  control to operate playback 
devices if you have registered  their remote control codes. 
You can also use the input se lection keys to change the 
playback devices that are contro lled by the remote control, 
because their remote contro l codes are assigned to the 
input selection keys.

You can reset the remote control codes assigned to each 
input selection keys to  the factory default.
1Press CODE SET using a  pointed object such 
as the tip of a ballpoint pen.
Perform each of the follow ing steps within 1 minute.
