Thetouchsensoronthetouchscreenisseparatefromthedisplayscreenthatitoverlays.Asaresult,there isnobuilt-inrelationshipbetweenthecoordinatesofaspotonthedisplayscreenandthecoordinatesit senseswhensomeonetouchesdirectlyoverthatspot.Sothesoftwareforthetouchscreeninterfacemust learnwhichspotsonthetouchsensorcorrespondtowhichareasofthedisplayscreen.Thisiscalled screencalibration. Initially,thetouchscreeniscalibratedaccurately,butsometimesthetouchscreencalibrationdriftsslightly overtime.Thescreencalibrationfeatureallowsyoutorecalibratethedisplayonthetouchscreen. WhenyoutouchScreenCalibration,thescreenclearsanddisplaysacircleintheupperleft-handcorner andtheinstructiontotouchthecirclethreetimestobeginscreencalibration. Followtheinstructionsonthescreentotoucheachcornerofthescreenandthenthecenterofthescreen threetimeseach.Besuretotouchasexactlyaspossibleinthecenterofeachcircle. Afteryoutouchthelastcirclethreetimes,youreturntotheHomescreen,andthescreencalibrationis complete.

TouchSecuritySystemDoorChimestoturnchimingonoroff.Youmightberequiredtoentera validsecuritysystemaccesscode.Ifyouturnchimingoff,nosoundsoccurwhensomeoneopens orclosesadoororwindowwhilethesecuritysystemisdisarmed. TouchScreenBattery:Ifthetouchscreenhasabackupbattery,thisindicatesthestateofthe touchscreen'sbatterypower: Fullycharged 2/3full 1/3full Lowbattery Alightningboltsymbolappearswithinthebatteryiconwhilepluggedinandcharging. Whenthebatteryisfullychargedandstillpluggedin,thebatterysymbolchangestoshowtheplug symbol.
