    6.9.1 Reset to factory defaults
    What can be done?
    All settings of the projector areset to the original factory settings with the exception of the IP address, serial
    settings and DMX settings. For these settings, the choice exists to include them in the reset operation.
    All user settings with the exception of those mentioned, are erased with this operation.
    How to reset
    1. Click onMaintenance(a). (image 6-24)
    The Maintenance dialog box is displayed.
    2. Check the items which may also be reset during the reset operation (b).

    - Serial communication settings
    - DMX settings

    7.1.1 Lens shift
    What can be done?
    When the lenses are motorized, it is possible to adjust these lenses via the Projector Toolset. The images
    can be shifted horizontally and vertically.

    How to shift the image
    1. To shift the image horizontally, click on the left or right arrow button in the shift pane.
    2. To shift the image vertically, click on the up or down arrow button in the shift pane.
    Click on the shift buttons until the correct image position is obtained.

    What can be done?
    When the lenses are motorized, it is possible to put the lens it is mid position via the Projector Toolset.

    1. Click on the Center button between the shift buttons.

    When the lenses are motorized, it is possible to zoom these lenses via the Projector Toolset.

    When the lenses are motorized, it is possible to focus these lenses via the Projector Toolset.

    Click until the correct focus is obtained.
    7.2 Test patterns
    What can be done?
    A predefined pattern can be set immediately on the projection screen and cleared again. This can be
    done via short cuts or via other internal patterns. Extra settings for the internal patterns can be set.
    To select a short cut pattern
    1. Click on one of the predefined buttons. (image 7-5)
    The selected pattern is displayed by the projector when the lamp is on and the shutter is open (not
    paused).
    The following patterns are available:
    - Full screen red
    - Full screen green
    - Full screen blue
    - Full screen white
    - Full screen black
    - Checkerboard
    - Color bars
    For more patterns, click onOthers.
    2. To clear a projected pattern, clickClear.

    To select other input test patterns
    1. Click onOthers(1). (image 7-6)
    The input test pattern selection window opens.
    2. Click on a test pattern button (2) to activate the pattern.
    If there are extra settings available for that selected test pattern, then the button next to the test pattern
    name will have a green dot.
    3. To set these extra settings, click on the button with thegreen dot (3).
    4. Check the check boxes of the desired settings

    7.3 Gamma adjustment
    About Gamma
    Gamma is an image quality enhancement function that offers a richer image by brightening the already
    darker portions of the image without altering the brightness of the brighter portions (contrast feeling en-
    hanced).

    1. Click on the slider bar of the gamma adjustment and hold down the mouse button.
    2. Move the slider until the desired value is reached.
    The value in the inputfield of the spin box will change accordingly.

    Adjusting via the up down controls
    1. Click on the up down control of the spin box of the gamma adjustment until the desired value is reached.
    The value in the inputfield change accordingly.

    1. Click inside the inputfield of the spin box of the gamma adjustment.
    2. Select the actual value and enter a new value with the keyboard.
    7.4 Individual color selection

    The selected color is displayed on the screen.
    The following can be selected:
    -allcolors
    -redonly
    - green only
    -blueonly

    7.5 Blanking adjustment
    What can be done ?
    Blanking adjustments affect only the edges of the projected image and are used to frame the projected
    image on to the screen and to hide or black out unwanted information (or noise). A ’0’ on the bar scale
    indicates no blanking.
    Blanking is limited to half the resolution of the projector.

    How to adjust a side blanking
    1. Click on the up down control of the spin box of the desired blanking until the chosen blanking is correctly
    set up.
    Or,
    click in the inputfield of the spin box of the desired blanking and enter the desired blanking value.
