    9.3 Custom color space set up
    Setup via coordinates
    1. SelectfirstCustomcolor space.
    2. Click on theTa r g e ttab. (image 9-4)
    The coordinates become available.
    3. To change the coordinate values for a color, click on the up down control of the spin box of the corre-
    sponding color until the selected color has the desired coordinates.
    Or,
    click in the input box of the spin box and enter the desired value.
    The corresponding color point on the gamut representation changes in the same way.

    3. Hold down the mouse button and drag the selected point to the desired position in the color space.

    Note that it is common practice to set the targets outside the projector color space. This
    implies there would be clipping if a fully saturated input was applied. In normal scenes,
    this does not happen, and the extra gain or saturation helps balance the overall lock.
    If clipping occurs, there will typically be a hue shift when one of R, G, B goes into clip
    ahead of the others.

    1. Click on the open icon next toActive standard(a).

    UncheckUse color temp. traject. The white point can be moved to any location (f).

    Or,
    click in the inputfield of the spin boxes and enter the desired value for White.
    The white point can be moved to any value.

    CheckUse color temp. traject. Only color values on the D-illuminance curve are allowed
    (f).
    How to adjust via the menu
    1. Click on drop down box of the temperature pane (g). (image 9-8)

    2. Select the desired value.
    The following values are possible:
    - 3200
    - 4900
    - 5400
    - 6500
    - 7500
    - 9300

    3. WhenCustomis selected, the slider can be moved to any position so that any value can be reached
    along the temperature curve (D-illuminance curve).

    How to adjust via color gamut
    1. Click on the white point in the color gamut representation. (image 9-9)
    2. Hold down the mouse button and drag the white point along the D-illuminance curve until the desired
    white point is reached.

    9.5 Save custom settings
    What has to be done?
    When creating a custom color space with custom white point, the custom indication next toActive standard
    gets an asterisk (*) to indicate that the values are not yet saved.
    How to save?
    1. Click on the Save icon () next toActive standard.
    The current values are saved as custom setting.

    10.1 Image orientation
    The different configurations
    The following installation are possible:
    • front/table
    • front/ceiling
    • rear/table
    • rear/ceiling
    • auto front : automatic front, projector detects itself if it is ceiling or table mounted and projects always
    a readable image.
    • auto rear : automatic rear, projector detects itself if it is ceiling or table mounted and projects always
    a readable image.
    Font : projector is installed in table or ceiling mount configuration at the same side of the screen as the
    audience.
    Rear: projector is installed in table or ceiling mount configuration at the other side of the screen opposite
    the audience.
    How to change
    1. Click on the drop down arrow of the combo box in the Image orientation pane. (image 10-1)
    A list with the possible selection opens.
    2. Select the correct orientation from the list.
    The icon next to the combo box changes accordingly.
