    6.8.5 LCD, backlight intensity
    What can be done ?
    The intensity of the backlight of the local LCD can be adjusted.
    How to adjust
    1. Click onAdvanced control(1). (image 6-14)
    TheAdvanced controldialog box opens (2).
    2. To change the backlight intensity, click on the slider and move the slider to the left or the right until the
    desired intensity is obtained.
    Or,
    click on the up down control of the spin box until the desired intensity is obtained.
    Or,
    click in the inputfield, select the current value and enter a new value with the keyboard.

    6.8.6 LCD, time out
    What can be done ?
    The local LCD can be switched off after a certain time when there is no activity on the local keyboard for
    this period.
    How to set the time
    1. Click onAdvanced control(1). (image 6-15)
    TheAdvanced controldialog box opens(2).
    2. To change the timout, click on the slider and move the slider to the left or the right until the desired
    timeout is obtained.
    Or,
    click on the up down control of the spin box until the desired timeout is obtained.
    Or,
    click in the inputfield, select the current value and enter a new value with the keyboard.

    Local LCD, timeout
    Timeout value equal to zero (0) means no timeout. Content on the LCD remains visible.
    6.8.7 LCD, backdrop image
    What can be done ?
    The backdrop image on the local LCD can be changed to any desired image as long as the resolution of
    the image is 480 x 272 pixels and the format is png.
    How to upload
    1. WhileLCDis active, click onSelectjust belowLCD backdrop image. (image 6-16)
    The requirements for the image are displayed (2).
    The requirements are :
    - resolution 480 x 272
    - png image format
    2. If you want to continue, clickYe s(3).
    A browser window opens (4).
    3. Browse to thefile and select the desiredfile (5).
    4. ClickChoose png image(6).

    A question window opens to ask if you are sure to upload the previewed image.
    5. ClickOKto upload the image (7).
    The image will be uploaded.
    6. To view a preview of the image, click onPreview.
    To remove the image from the projector, click on the remove icon.

    What can be done ?
    The startup image on the local LCD can be changed to any desired image as long as the resolution of the

    6.8.9 Test patterns
    What can be done ?
    Different test patterns on various levels can be selected. Some test patterns can be configured via extra
    settings.
    How to select
    1. Click onAdvanced control(1). (image 6-18)
    TheAdvanced controldialog box opens (2).
    2. Select a test pattern level (4) by checking the radio button of your choice.
    The following levels are possible :
    -OSD
    - Input
    - Output
    - Formatter
    Depending on the level selection, the available test patterns are different.
    3. Click on the desired test pattern button (6).
    The test pattern is displayed.
    If there are extra settings possible for that selected pattern, the button next to the pattern contains a
    green bullet.
    4. To display the extra settings, press the button with the green dot (7).
    The extra settings open. To activate a setting, check the check box in front of this setting (image 6-19)

    6.8.10 Miscellaneous settings, image load
    What can be done ?
    The way tofind and load the correct settings for the selected input source can be defined with image load.
    The following options are possible:
    • Automatic : correctfile will be loaded automatically.
    • Manual : correctfile should be loaded manually.
    • Custom only : correctfile will be loaded automatically out of the available customfiles.
    How to set the image load

    3. Click on the drop down box next toImage loadand select the desired setting (4).

    Purpose
    Contrast : change the contrast of the projected image.
    Intensity : change the brightness of the projected image.
    How to adjust

    2. Click onMisctab (3).
    3. To change the contrast (4), click on the slider next toContrast enhancementand move it to the right or
    left until the desired value is obtained.

    click inside the inputfield, select the current value and enter the desired value with your keyboard.
    4. To change the intensity (5), click on the slider next toIntensityandmoveittotherightorleftuntilthe
    desired value is obtained.

    Lens settings used for the current layout can be used for all other layouts.

    What can be done ?
    The auto picture alignment function can be deactivated or activated in two ways, always executed when
    sync comes back after a sync loss or executed during afile load.
    • Off : auto picture alignment deactivated
    • Always : auto picture alignment is always activated
    •Onfile Load
    How to set up
    1. Click onAdvanced control(1).
    TheAdvanced controldialog box opens (2).
    2. Click onMisctab (3).
    3. Check the desired function for the auto picture alignment.
